Kun’s Omakase Bar is a hidden gem in Steveston. A bit tucked away, but everything was absolutely delicious. We’d honestly go to Steveston just for Kun’s. 🍣✨

My girlfriend and I come here a few times a month, never had a bad experience. Food and service is always amazing. Probably one of the best sushi spots in Richmond.

Heard that the chef was from Miku. Some dishes resemble the dishes there, like oshi sushi & soba. Food is good especially the Soba Peperoncino. The citrus tone balances very well with the rest of the ingredients. Aburi chirashi tart is more for its presentation, not good for sharing. Clams are fresh. Prawns are standard.

4.5 star. I tried the ikura don ( they also hav ikura Uni don) and it was quite good. Definitely abv par in Vancouver. Not your bargain sushi place but not overly expensive. Hidden in a short alley off Moncton Street and offered a bit privacy feel
And tables were not as packed as other Japanese restaurants of same size.

A hidden gem for sure! Super high quality (the unagi is always our favourite of the meal), but we also love their udon. It’s such a big bowl of fresh, bouncy noodles. Staff are super friendly too and everything is just so freshly prepared

Had an amazing time with friends on a quiet Sunday evening. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Reservations are recommended as their hours may vary depending on how busy it gets. We recommend any of their uni flavoured dishes (e.g young and rich) 😋

Sign and menu outside inviting us in, open door, food cooking, 2:20pm. But “sorry, closed”. What a waste of time.

Great meal and taste. I wish there was more per plate but otherwise a great experience.

Every dish was well designed and tasty. The quality of the fish overall was very high. The hamachi in both the sashimi and carpaccio dish was the standout.

Best Japanese food in Vancouver area. Heard from a small business owner that recommend it that the chef was legit in Japan and it shows.
