Sorry, we have trouble finishing 10% of this matcha yuzu cake. We are very disappointed with the cake.

I was gifted the caramel crepe cake for my birthday. First, the packaging is surprisingly pretty and thoughtful—it really feels special before you even open the box. And then the cake itself is a work of art; it's almost too beautiful to eat! The caramel flavor was delicate and delicious. This is an absolutely fantastic option for sending a whole cake as a gift. It’s a guaranteed way to impress someone and make their day feel extra special.

Thursday evening - take out. There were 3 employees at the counter. 2 younger employees were kind and patient. There was an older gentlemen employee, who was extremely rude.

Otherwise, cake was good, not too heavy and not too sweet.

Editing by 5 star review down to 3 after just being sold a partially frozen piece of crepe cake. At this price point ($10+) for a slice of cake it should never ever be previously frozen. They've just lost a long term customer

The dessert is very tasty, and the service attitude is also great! It’s the kind of place where you feel welcomed immediately, as if you're an old friend returning after a long absence. The staff has a genuine warmth about them, always ready with a smile and a thoughtful suggestion. Each bite of the cake melts in your mouth, perfectly balanced between sweetness and richness, leaving you craving just a bit more. The ambiance adds to the experience too, with soft music playing in the background and cozy lighting that makes everything feel just right. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a moment of indulgence.

We came here for afternoon tea after lunch with friends, since the other three places we tried were fully booked. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
The rose tea looked nice in photos, but that’s about all it had going for it — it was essentially just water with a single rosebud in it, with almost no rose flavor at all. The menu was completely misleading. I would not recommend this drink unless you're only ordering it for the aesthetic.
The other two drinks we ordered were also below average. The cake selection was very limited, and the dessert we did try was just as bad — maybe even worse — than the tea. They didn’t have the mille crepe cake we were hoping for, so thankfully we only ordered one dessert.
The place was packed, especially near the entrance, where the layout was chaotic. There were people waiting for tables, lining up to pay, browsing bread, and queuing for cake — all crammed into the same area. The environment was loud, messy, and confusing.
It was also extremely difficult to get service. No one came to take our order, and there was no staff around when we needed help. There was essentially no service at all. The staff we did see looked very nervous and overwhelmed, clearly struggling to keep up with the crowd.

The service and the cake were good, only reason I will not go there again is their prices are completely outrageous.

In this day of overloaded sugary bubble tea shops, over the top sweet desserts and obesity and diabetic inducing dessert shops that occupy a nearby mall, L'OTUS is a breath of fresh air with their delicately flavored but carefully and skillfully made crepe cakes. We continue to drop by and pick up their chocolate crepe cakes. We actually stopped coming when they didn't carry them over the summer but decided to roll the dice last week and... *cue sunshine 🌞 from the clouds* ... there they were!

The manager and owner use to be there a couple years back so service was a lot better. Staff currently there is efficient, though.

The quality of the crepe cakes continue to be a notch above a more well-known brand (A Lady named M) imo. It may surprise you that you may appreciate the more subtle, but still flavorful, crepe cake here.

Ive previously tried the mille cake many times and they are very good! However first time trying the matcha yuzu cake and omg its sooo good!!😮‍💨the slight sour tartness from the yuzu pairs perfectly with the sponge cake and I can tell that the matcha is wonderful quality too based on the color..so good!!
