Date night dinner before movie. This place is close to the movie, and I was craving for Shanghai noodles, that’s why we are here
Food was good as always, love their XLB, it’s not the best one I had, but it’s still very good. Shanghai noodles was fantastic, all the dishes were delicious
Service was very good, friendly staff, she kept asking if they need to hold off on bringing out food so that they won’t be cold.
Vibe is a little dated, and this is in an industrial area, but we are here for the food.

Sweet baby JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL!
This place has the BEST AUTHENTIC SHANGHAI NOODLES ! I always get it with chicken! Chewy, perfect texture, hand made just freaking perfect!!! And don’t get me started on their dumplings!!!! The beef, chicken mushrooms, fish and shrimp are my go to always! They have countless more flavours! They come in 12, 16, or 20 pieces!
Definitely a MUST TRY! And they have amazing candied walnuts at $7 a pack! House made too!

Food was decent, but nothing to rave about. Honestly I wouldn’t mind going back if it wasn’t for the poor service.
They set their business hours to close at 8, but do not allow you to dine in if you come in past 6:30. My friend and I were still eating and the chef (assuming owner?) comes out and very rudely tells us we need to leave. This was at 7:15.
Perhaps set your hours appropriately instead of being rude to your customers, other potential customers were just as confused.
The setting is very odd too, they treat it more like a cafeteria/fast food style where you order your food and grab your own table. They tell you to seat yourself, but if you sit at the wrong table they will make you move. Why not practice what restaurants usually do and seat your guests if you are so particular about where people sit?
Did not like the energy there, especially from the chef. I will not be returning, and caution potential diners if they really want to try it. There are other places nearby to support instead.

Found this place in this industrial area while I was on my way to a meeting in that street. I was not sure about such places in the industrial area. So went to order a take out lunch. But the place is well maintained, its a full restaurant with great ambiance and seating. Loved the place and felt like to eat there. Take away the chicken fried noodles. The raste was great but the portion was small. Never seen such low size portion for noodles in Vancouver. But i liked the taste and it’s worth trying. I must say the place is well Maintained and very hygienic.
Thank you. I will come again when I come for my next meeting.

Some dishes are too spicy. Also the service attitude isn’t good and makes people feel uncomfortable. There weren’t many customers, yet the food was served very slowly, and the taste was just average.

First mama tells you to sit down at a booth, then mama tells you to get up and come to the counter to get the menu yourself.
Mama asks you how many pairs of chopsticks do you need. You go and ask your company, and go back to tell mama. But mama tells you to go away as she’s too busy.
Food was alright. Mama tells you to not use vinegar when eating soup dumplings. Mama can also mix up the orders and blame it on you. Food can come out slow too, as she prioritizes on other customers that arrived after you.

Hoping to order from Hinbor! We usually hang out with friends from UBC!
If you want a quiet place that has quality Chinese food come here. Don’t expect service but expect a really good meal. I’ve tried almost all the dumplings, 2 types of fried noodles, and 3 types of soup noodles. Don’t listen to Mama though soup dumplings need the acidity from vinegar, but without is good too.

This was my first time ordering takeout from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. I ordered the Shanghai fried noodles and SH fried pork buns. The buns had thick, tough wrappers that tasted like they’d been refried more than once. The fried noodles were a bit greasy and had a strong old oily smell, which made me suspect the oil had been reused from deep-frying. Although the prices were reasonable, the food quality and taste didn’t live up to expectations. The pick up waiting time was over 20 minutes.

Good food, but can confirm the service could be better. Staff needs to be trained on customer service. Niceness goes a long way.
