Honestly, I do not get how the google ratings is 3.6, I GIVE THIS A 5. The bread is really soft. I recommend their sandwiches and their Steamed Buns (饅頭).

The food in this store is sour and moldy!Do not eat here. The green bean paste was moldy and the mochi ball is sour!

Hidden Gem!!!! Wow! This is seriously one of the best bakeries in Richmond for savory snacks and lunch! It reminds me of various foods you can purchase on the streets in Taiwan. They have everything from steam buns to sandwiches, to mini burgers, all at great prices. It doesn't look like much but they have flavours of buns and sandwiches I have not seen elsewhere and they are made so fine. I tried this sandwich with ham, fruit and egg and it deserved a Michelin star! Like... the food here is better than most restaurants.... For realzThe mini chicken and sausage burger was also delicious and 2 for $2.80!!!!!This is food better than food trucks and restaurants at very affordable prices. Highly recommend it!

Came a few times always getting a bun or two each visit, overall it's a typical Chinese bakery with decent buns. They do sell out / don't make all their offerings each day so I don't always get what I want each time. Overall I would recommend any of their spongey rolls or speciality buns. My carb cravings kicked in and I'm in the area, so a quick extra stop to Mega Bakery was a must! Their pineapple buns looked very flat (and sad looking) today so that was a no, luckily they had my favorite: the seaweed egg bun and a sponge roll - extra points for individually wrapping each item. At cash I was a bit surprised the total for 3 buns came close to $11! I paid and left quickly for another appointment but my afterthought: the seaweed buns were $2.50 each, sponge roll $2.80 - in no way would 3 buns cost $11!! I've left by the time the math hit, but overall, bummed out by this.

They had two kinds of sesame sauce pastry. The savory one did not have real filling; it was just dough with sesame paste bits. The filling of the sweet one was like sesame paste with peanuts. Also, they labeled the pastry as "Green tea red bean" but it only had red bean inside. It was misleading. Moreover, the pastry skin for the green tea pastry was too thick which was disappointing, and their "Taiwanese wife cake" was not what it supposed to be; it was just a pastry with date-flavoured mochi inside. I was very surprised. However, the sponge cake with pork floss was interesting. It was weird that they labeled a lot of the pastries and cakes as "moon cakes" when they were not the real moon cakes. It was very sad that their quality of products was not as good as before (they used to be good). In addition, they only had half of the store filled with baked goods when it was only around 2:30pm. I did not expect that because it was near Chinese New Year; they should have more products available not only because it was still early in the afternoon (they used to continue to stock up in the evening when I was there in the past). The fact that they mislabeled the products merely means that they wasted our money because we did not pay for what we wanted. This is deceiving. P.S. The black sesame year cake did not have an expiry date and it had mould after several days.

(Translated by Google) It's really great! ! It can be said that everything in it is super delicious! In particular, the following are emphasized here: pork floss, low-sugar and protein cake, egg yolk cake, egg yolk meat dumpling, taro cake?! And the payment method is not only cash. I think the store is very user-friendly. During the epidemic, some other stores only accept cash. I am also very speechless...Compared with the freshness of the cakes of other stores, regardless of the size and quantity The freshness is overwhelming. I have tried all the western-style cake shops. The egg yolk is also oversized. The owner is also very enthusiastic and has a good accent. The northerner also carefully told us that the meat dumplings should be heated when they are frozen. ~ Very recommended! Although I live a bit far away, I still buy it every other week!

I like their steamed buns. Especially the large meat ones. There’s not a lot of places in Richmond that sells large steamed buns, except T&T, but the ones here are way better.

I had some snacks here while working in a construction site nearby. They were simply but really good, hand made and really inexpensive.Vanilla roll is my favorite, but pork and chicken buns are really good as well.
