Authentic Taiwanese food. Their herbal lamb dishes are quite unique, and great to eat on a cold day. Do order some side of veggies. This restaurant can get quite busy during rush hour.Drinks (bubble tea) are well made too.July 2020 update:I visited Memory Corner at their new location. Ambiance was quite neat, as the decor reminded me of Taiwan during the old days. One critique I have is that the seats aren't as comfortable, and some tables are too small.Food is still excellent, but prices have crept up slightly. On a positive note, they finally accept credit card payment.
The food standard has dropped a lot. Became expensive and unpalatable. The rice was overcooked. No more
Food was great, staff is nice
I cannot stress enough how happy the food here makes me. Best Taiwanese style popcorn chicken around. Period.
Very nice decoration and service. Food was not bad but kinda over priced for what you get
I thought the food was pretty good. I ordered the fried pork ribs rice this time. I missed the Taiwanese flavor very much. The fried squid has a crispy skin and the squid is elastic. The salted crispy chicken is juicy and very tasty. The interior decoration of the store is great, with a retro design. , has been added to favorites ?
It's ok.. nothing special
Food is still excellent during take out only for covid-19. Portions are generous and quick service. 10% for take out orders! Highly recommend and will order again.
We ordered takeout from Memory Corner yesterday for a traditional Taiwanese lunch after hearing about how simple yet delicious the food is here. Sure enough, the lamb soup was not only warm and hearty from the ginger and herbs used, but the lamb itself was fall off the bone tender. Their minced pork on rice brought back the nostalgic memories of sitting at my Taiwanese friend's dining table with its savoury, aromatic spices.
Overrated and poor service compared to other "Taiwanese" restaurants. Table was sticky, not once did the server come refill tea, and server kept on interrupting our meal by bringing other table's food. A signature comfort food, 滷肉飯,was butchered. It lacked any aroma from shallots and was also not saucy enough. I wouldn't consider this restaurant a Taiwanese restaurant.

Visited recently together with my cousin. Since the general reviews are passable, so we decided to give it a try. Oh big mistake. We ordered one of their top rated lamp hotpot, asked for option of two people, with something else like fried popcorn chicken, and 20 mins later it turned out for something astonishing to the whole world: the size of the pot container was like a joke, nothing bigger than a cat feeder, and about 12 pieces small diced cubic meat. We never knew that would happen so added one more side dish to share. It turned out to be very greasy. We did best to respect food and cleared most of them, and my cousin looking at me and asked me what was the big idea for choosing THIS place, out of everywhere else for lunch. So embarrassing.
Tried the mixed lamb with rice and taiwanese fried vermicelli, the saltiness of the dishes is just right if you like a lighter salty dish. For others that are used to other restaurants being very salty, it may be too tasteless. The mixed lamb with greens was almost tasteless but just good enough for someone that like less salt. The smell of lamb in the dish and lots of green was good as I like to eat more greens, but if you like more meat, you will be disappointed as there isn’t much meat. I didn’t like the taste of black licorice (甘草) in the Taiwanese vermicelli though so minus 1 star, Also just make sure you bring cash or debit, credit not accepted here. Service was average, nothing wow. It is a okay place, but not extravagant. The decor needs updating -perhaps their new renovating location across closed down fabricland (on garden city) will be better. Lacks decor sense - the display of two anime figures lack detail - the anime figures are the wow of the shop but lighting is wrong and display box is wrong. Doesn’t really show off the two anime figures to maximum potential. Instead shows the shop owner lacks attention to detail for the shop. A very casual place for some okay Taiwanese food - especially if you like less salty. I probably will come back but not my favourite shop. Still worth give it a try but don’t expect any wows.
Great food and great service!
Delicious food, fantastic bubble teas. My favourite place to bring friends, especially if they’ve never been here before. It’s fairly busy and seats a lot of people for the space, i’ve never had to wait long to be seated or served. Just be sure to make eye contact with staff when you’re ready to order, they’ll come right away!
The place was clean and the service was great! Lots of choices of food, it was taste good also with a big potion! I am highly recommend and definitely will come back again.
