I had the pleasure of trying their famous beef wellington and wow, it did not disappoint. I've tried many other wellingtons in the past and this easily takes the medal home. The detail that they place in each layer and each step in preparation really comes through and makes a huge difference in the overall product. The only regret I have is not discovering Missing Chopsticks earlier.
Felt obligated to try a higher end HK restaurant before they pause for business. Food was good, service was good and servers were attentive. Deduction of a star because for the price point ($200+ for 2), atmosphere lacks soul and service needs more personalized engagement. Hope to see Missing Chopsticks come around again, attempt was made but lacking a little all around.
We saw that this place was closing soon (one week left) and decided to visit for my sister's birthday. It is a set menu, with an option to upgrade to their signature beef wellington for an additional $40. We decided against that, and kind of regretted it when the table next to us got it - one thing about this place is that the portions are HUGE. Which is great cause the food is amazing! Tasting menu this is not, you will go home full. Which is not unreasonable for the price...
