The osmanthus rice cake and soybean rice cake were both wonderfully fragrant, with a deep, natural rice aroma and soft texture. The candied fruit (tanghulu) wasn’t very fresh this time, but the milk dates were just as tasty as always — sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced.

I like the sticky rice cakes a lot. Unfortunately they are closing down. I’m gonna miss the place. I haven’t been there a lot because I’m cutting down carbs.

Ordered the matcha mochi cake taco and osthmanthus drink. The cake was an excellent matcha flavor, not too sweet. It had a nice balance of matcha cream and mochi. The mochi itself was chewy and had a great texture. Although it is a bit pricey, I would consider returning to this store to try its other mochi and rice desserts!
The osthmanthus drink was underwhelming -- it was tasteless and the pear chunks didn't appeal to me. Would not recommend the osthmanthus drink at this location.

Got the osmanthus rice cake and im shook this place isnt closed down. Its bland and dry and doesn't have a chew to it. It felt like I was eating a lump of bread. We ate it on the spot in store right after purchasing as recommended. Id rather actually eat a lump of plain rice than this. $11 for this is absolutely insane. Wouldn't ever eat this again.
The texture is so inconsistent, like part hard, part powdery, part chewy and rough on all edges. I'm actually shocked how terrible someone can make food and be delulu enough to sell it for money.

even if this rice cake was a dollar, or 1 cent, or even free, i would NEVER eat this again. it was bland and dry- so dry that all tje moisture from my mouth evaporated in an instant. this was the date cake btw... 0/5
I always come here when I’m craving rice cakes or Chinese desserts! They have seating here but I usually take it to go.
Loved it

Unfortunately, I have to give this place 3 stars because it’s hit or miss.
We love the Osmanthus cake, but it has to be eaten fresh—don’t keep it overnight or it loses its texture and flavor. The durian and mango mochi are also really good, but again, best when eaten right away.
On the other hand, we didn’t like the soybean glutinous rice cake it was hard and too dry. The black kernel rice cake was also disappointing. And this isn’t based on just one try; we gave both a few chances, hoping they’d be better.
That said, we’ll continue to come back for the things we do enjoy!

Adversited Mochi Taco, but they said it’s not officially released when I went in today. Would appreciate if they mention it’s soon to be released instead of the false advertising on IG.
