Came for a reserved set meal banquet, so we sat in a cordoned off section with karaoke machine.
Some dishes were good, like the 2 king crab dishes (steamed and deep fried) - lots of meat in the crab legs, though the steamed dish was slightly saltier. Abalone was alright at best. The desserts were good - we had Chinese cookies, steamed milk with ginger juice (really good), mung bean dessert soup.
Service was really friendly and personable. Restaurant setup was interesting too as there was another smaller cordoned off section for 4 people to play mahjong, while the main banquet hall had a few tables of dinner customers.

f you’re looking for authentic flavors in Richmond, Neptune Seafood is a must-visit. We had an incredible meal, but two dishes truly stole the show. The steamed black cod with black bean sauce was buttery, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. Equally impressive was the diced beef with mushroom; the beef was remarkably tender and packed with savory umami.
The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed dinner. Highly recommended for anyone craving high-quality Cantonese cuisine!

We came because they advertised crispy peking duck skin. What we got was soggy oily duck skin with absolutely no flavor. We had fishmaw soup to start and it was pretty good though. I had ordered chicken and black bean sauce at the same time as we ordered and she forgot to write that down. We decided not to have them make that after seeing the duck. I would not recommend this please. There is a ton of options within a one square mile that I'm sure are better.

This didn’t happen recently, but it came to mind again and I feel it’s worth leaving a review.
During a dinner visit, we ordered a clay pot dish. A senior male floor manager brought us the wrong one, which we didn’t realize at the time. Later, he brought out the dish we actually ordered and briefly said the previous one was a mistake — but he did not take the incorrect dish back.
After that, one of the other dishes we had ordered never arrived. When we asked a server, we discovered that the item we originally ordered had been removed from our order and replaced with the mistaken clay pot dish, without any explanation or confirmation from us. At no point did the manager communicate this change to us.
I do think the food itself is good. However, Vancouver has many excellent Cantonese restaurants, and this kind of handling and lack of transparency is not acceptable. Because of how this situation was managed, we would not return.

It's an old chinese restaurant without much maintenance. It took an hour before they served my food. They said that my order was lost somewhere in their kitchen
Food is delicious here. I love coming here

They're kinda funny at the hostess area.
"Just wait here" then they walk away 2 minutes later... stop, turn around and look at us; "hey, follow me here. " They're abrupt, not rude, just getting the job done.
Food was great

Worst experience ever!! Went there with my daughter and were given 2 small saucers to use as plates and no extra plate to put lobster shell so had to use napkins. No one spoke to us or came to check if we needed anything else. We got looks as if we were from planet of apes or something very unfriendly staff. Dish was not worth what we paid for. Barely any lobster in it. Never going back there again ! ?????
Food was ok but could be better as they were not that busy.one of make waiter was strange as didn’t bring cutlery for our none Chinese guest and ignored him twice as we have to ask different waiter to taking care of our table.
