Love coming here when i get a chance. Food is fantastic, portions are generous and the owner is great.
Don’t bother with mediocre sushi restaurants with subpar udon and donburi when you can come here, for better quality food at a much better price. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Pretty tasty Japanese Bento style food! The sets come with a miso soup, some side dishes (deep fried tofu, veggies, etc), and the main dish.
We typically like the pork (in photo), beef, and chicken sets with rice. The udon one is good too for kids. The chicken kaarage is also cooked just right as seen in the photos.
Plenty of parking in the Ironwood mall since it's never full. Note that the restaurant is not very big, so you might want to reserve beforehand. You can collect stamps, and after 10, you'll get a meal for free!

Very delicious, high quality food. My husband and I frequent this place and we love the chicken meal, beef udon meal, chicken karaage, and strawberry soda. Highly recommend!

I have to tell you this is a pretty solid meal. Way more rice than I could eat and a variety of food that comes with the main course is pretty great. Only wish there was more meat.

This place truly lives up to the great reviews. The food tastes like something you'd get from a comforting home-cooked meal. It's fresh, not overdone, and you can tell it's made with care. It feels nourishing and real, without any artificial flavors. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the space itself is clean and has a nice, cozy atmosphere. The staff are also genuinely kind, which just adds to the whole experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

Today it was my first time there, had appointment near by . I was going for Tim's, but then I saw the store and was curious what it serves. Then when I walk in it was a small but nicely decorated Japanese cuisine. it was interesting to see that their menu was like a fast food join. Lol. The place is clean and welcoming, and the waiter was very polite. I ordered their chicken course meal, waited about 15min or less. The miso soup was ok, but the chicken... it was very good, reminded me of the yakitori that I had when I was living in Japan, the crispy and wonderful aroma of the chicken skin spread within my mouth. The rice was not a lot, but the small dishes made up for it. The way they cooked the okra was yummy for me, as I do not like the sticky feeling of it, but for the first time in my life, I eat it with joy.
I highly recommended, and next time if I go to the mall at ironwood, I would not hesitate to go there again and try their other meal course.
Ps. I order before I sat down, and paid after I was done.
Update: after 2 years , still very good, food and service.🥰
