Google review shows 4.1 for this place. Joke? lol. Where I came from, this is very authentic Suzhou / Shanghai cuisine. At par with those high quality restaurants in Shanghai. Three days in a row dine in here, food quality is very consistent and no single entry was disappointing! Keep up the good work 桂！ See you next when I am back.
Fresh and tasty. Not too greasy or over-sautéed. Good service as well. Would still like to visit despite it’s not-so-convenient location (Aberdeen center with limited parking during peak hours).
We hit up Osmanthus for a snack around 3 PM on Sunday after friend’s recommendation. As soon as we sat down, they asked us to pick a tea, and we went with Jasmine—it was awesome. Heads up, the tea costs $3.60. We shared an order of Meat Xiaolongbao (six soup dumplings) and a Noodle Soup with tomatoes and beef brisket. Everything was super tasty. The place had a nice vibe and comfy seating. We had a great time and will definitely be back next time we’re in town from the US.
