I ordered my favorite barbecue pork puffs, but the appearance and taste were so disappointing. It seemed like a pre-made dish, and the skin was burnt black. I guess I won't be going there for dim sum again.

I remembered this extremely rude assistant manager (Alice) and she was terrible! First, she took my plate while I was still eating (like what?). And also, she ended up dropping food onto my pants (like how is that even possible). I would never come back to this restaurant. Besides the food isn’t even that good.

Weekend dim sum with my friend
Food was very good, love the Chiu chow dumplings, Siu Mai was very good too. Century egg congee was good for it’s price
Service was good. Decor is still relatively new

We were here for a volunteer appreciation lunch. The event was wonderful with good company. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the food tasty…lacking in seasoning somewhat.

Honestly this place sucks. Just trust me when I say it don’t deserve your business. And if you go anyways, I told you so.

5 of us visiting this restaurant just now. The server (a short hair mid-age lady) didn't greet us, only asked if we can order. We took few mins to decide to order lobster and sliced duck combo, plus 2 more dishes. The server asked how to cook the duck (二食), then left without saying anything further. The ducks are fine. When the lobster came, it's in sauteed (上湯) style, which is not what we expected. We then talked to the server, she said we didn't tell her we want marinated (頭抽), I asked why she only asked about the duck (二食), but didn't ask about how to make the lobster. She didn't answer, but only said if we didn't initiate to tell her how to cook, then she will ASSUME we want it in sauteed (上湯) style, and said we can't change anyway. We were so disappointed about her attitude and service. How can you assume customers' preferences? How do you know they don't have any food allergies? Luckily we don't have allergies, otherwise I can't imagine what would happen.
For the remaining dining time, she never served our table, only a male server keeps changing our plates or whatsoever. She only came to give us the bill at the end. She's all the way without any smiles at all, I don't think this is the attitude as a customer service role. I will never visit this restaurant, same as my families.

Usually the food must be really good or really bad for a patron to right a review WHILE dinning and this is one of them.
We are a party of 13 booked a dinner combo with a roasted suckling pig (see pic). Usually they let you eat the crispy skin first before returning the pig to the kitchen for the chopping so we can enjoy the meat.
The pig came first and 60 minutes later it still haven’t come back to us despite our very gentle prompting - first to the server then to the manager- to a point when I could tell they were on the verge of dissing us. Even my 90+ yr old mother in law had to raise her voice. No apologies not even a mindless (and typical response) of it is coming. They kept saying the kitchen is busy.
I get it is a weekend and there is a wedding/party/banquet at half of the restaurant. I bussed tables at a Chinese eatery as a young man and I get it but this is beyond acceptable even in a Cantonese restaurant serving standard.
Won’t come back and would not recommend unless you enjoy being dismissed.
It is 75 min since we last saw the pig and guess what even the fried rice has arrived.
What a shame.
Update: we ended up getting our pig back after we use pretty strong words towards the manager. I guess he knew we are not pushovers.
Update 2: this is just outside the kitchen across from where we are seating

Enjoying some authentic HK dim sum for brunch.
Wish they had more than four tea options.
Service always here above my expectations, staff attentive, friendly and professional.
I always call ahead to make a reservation, specially on weekends and holidays, because has average wait time of at least twenty minutes during busy times and this cuts into the 2hr free parking.
Honestly dimsum food tastes more or less the same at most locations nowadays so really can't complain about anything there. The shrimp dumplings🥟 were fresh, skin was thin, and went really well with the chili oil. Stuffed chicken wings moist and crispy.
At 10:30am stir fried specials, they open at 9:00am 365 days a year, but that too early for me. Sometimes they have a set dim sum menu special for early birds. Definitely this price has reasonable prices even without foodie discounts.
I recommend their Puff Baked Sago Custard Pudding 脆皮西米焗布甸 and Crispy Donut Wrapped with Rice Roll 炸兩, both so delicious 😋 forgot take a photo.

We had dim sum at Parkhill last year and the food was much better. This time chicken roll, steamed chicken rice and congee with century egg didn’t taste fresh. Steamed rice roll with bbq pork was very oily. Dumpling in consommé tasted fresh but was not discounted even though they say there is 20% discount for early dim sum. When asked, only certain items on the dim sum menu is subjected to early dim sum discount but they don’t tell you on the menu. So be careful when you order. It will be a long time before I come back to try again.

The menu said stir-fried porcini mushrooms, but I asked the waiter why he couldn't see the porcini mushrooms. He was very rude and said this was porcini sauce! But there is no word "sauce" on the menu!
In the end, I found that the other staff were polite. Only that lady is bad, her name is Alice

The $128 Peking Duck and Lobster combo is a fantastic deal, especially considering today’s prices. Both dishes come in generous portions, and the restaurant doesn’t skimp on quality ingredients. The duck is crispy and flavorful, while the lobster is fresh, tender, and well-prepared. Unlike many traditional Chinese restaurants, the flavors here are on the lighter side, making it a great option for those who prefer less salt in their meals.
Some standout dishes include the Steamed Fresh Tofu with Seafood and Greens, which is silky and packed with umami, and the Baked Pudding, which is rich, creamy, and a perfect way to end the meal. The menu offers a good variety of classic and modern Chinese dishes, catering to different tastes.
The restaurant tends to get busy quite quickly, so making a reservation is highly recommended to avoid long wait times. The seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is pleasant, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions.
Parking is another plus—there’s designated parking underneath the London Drugs lot. However, some diners seem to use the general London Drugs parking area instead. Parking is free for two hours, which should be enough for a relaxed dining experience.
Overall, this place is a great option for quality Chinese food with a lighter touch, good service, and great value. Highly recommended!
