Pearl Castle Cafe is a go-to spot for authentic Taiwanese food and bubble tea. Their beef soup noodles are one of my all-time favorites, and the tomato beef soup noodle in particular is at the top of my list!
The noodle texture, flavorful broth, and tender beef create a perfect combination that keeps me coming back every time.
While their drinks are just average and very traditional Taiwanese-style bubble tea, the food itself more than makes up for it.
If you’re a fan of rich, comforting soup noodles, this place is a must-try!

They took forever to serve you tasteless and miss ingredients drinks.
Everything is downhill now . Their deep fried chicken nuggets are extremely salty, dried and over cooked.
Their deep fried fish cake got way too much carrots inside.
Their chairs are dirty with a lot of
food on top and broken.

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. I asked to move to another seat, and the girl with black-frame glasses and light pink hair said it was fine, but then just left. No one helped me carry the hotpot to the new table at all.
Also the takeout was also badly packed. I ordered twice last year, and both times they put the largest container on top, which caused the soup to spill all over my car.

We decided to try Pearl Castle Café because we were hungry and Dolpan was packed.
The place was busy but not as busy as it commonly is. My wife thought it would be good because it has dishes she likes.
The place was warm and inviting, staff were very friendly and the service was top notch. It is a family place so if you don’t want to be around kids, this might not be the place for you.
We were seated right away and were given a piece of paper with the table number and a QR code to scan. Upon scanning the QR code, you get the full menu; and what a menu! It is huge. Tons of options, including vegetarian.
They have lots of tea and drink options.
We ordered their Stewed Rice Vermicelli with Pig Intestines, their black Pepper beef with a side of rice, the spicy wonton in sauce, Taiwanese-style fried chicken, fermented fried pork and a Pearl Milk Tea.
All dishes were good with the beef and the chicken as my favourites. My wife compared the vermicelli to others and although it was good, she is a spoiled brat and did not find it as tasty as the ones she’s had before. She did like the chicken better than others, however and that seems to be a popular dish here. The Pearl Milk tea was tasty as well. Not too sweet and a decent size.
We might come back for sure!
Vegetarian options: I did see some vegetarian options but cannot comment on these as I am not vegetarian. They are marked in the menu.
Kid-friendliness: It is a family restaurant and have seen many families frequent it. There are some kid-friendly dishes as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and easily accessible by via wheelchair. They also have a wheelchair accessible restroom on the first floor

They renovated a while back. This is some of the best places for food in the area. My wife loves it here. We live in Aldergrove and yes we would come all the way down here to eat. Food comes out quick and the staff is very attentive. Must try.

Foods are great at this restaurant with reasonable prices. Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. It might get fairly busy at times.
Parking: Lots of parking stalls, but weekend dinner times are very busy time. My secret spots are behind the shops north of the plaza, always empty stalls there.

the worst pork rib rice I've ever had in my life. there's no battery at all not crispy. an oil tastes very old disgusting. the broccoli's are all cold. either they don't have quality control in terms of who cooks. or the other location at Richmond Centre is better. not worth the price I expected some crispy traditional Taiwanese fried pork. well this week and wet thing that is completely unacceptable. I will not give any start but I have to choose one.

My wife and I ordered a sauce-flavored fish fillet and a tomato beef risotto. The sauce-flavored fish fillet tasted pretty good, but there was less fish fillet. The tomatoes in the tomato beef risotto include only two small slices of tomatoes except for the beef, and the rest are a lot of onions. Where did the tomatoes go? The name of the dish should be changed to beef and onion risotto.
