“I really wanted to thank this establishment as it provided my family of 4 the best meal since arriving in canada on holiday from uk. We generally eat Persian food in the UK and was delighted to find this place, food, atmosphere and price was excellent. We will be visiting 1 or 2 more times before heading back to the UK.“

“Everything was excellent from start to finish! We planned a family dinner at Saboo and the owner was incredibly helpful with organizing everything. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

“Outstanding food! We popped in here with a bit of hesitation because of the promotion signage out front. It was Green bean and lamb and draft beer 2 for 1. Each day there is a different 241 dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, with a two level open concept room with sky lights and lots of windows. Chairs and tables are comfy and there was a nice light jazz playing. We ordered the 2 for one dish of the night and it actually came with 2 for 1 draft beer!
I was surprised when we got a lovely little bowl of the most aromatic mushroom soup as a starter. Our beers arrived next, followed up by the main, which was an exquisite combination of flavours and textures. The napkins were high quality disposable and there were candles on each table. Service was really great and both servers had fantastic sense of humours!
Highly recommend this place and will be back to try other dishes.“

“Visited Bahar after seeing a friend post on IG about their drink that came with a little coconut pistachio treat. They said it smelled so good in there, had a warm atmosphere, and that the owner was lovely.
THE HYPE IS REAL! Ali at the counter was so cheerful, helped me find some dairy-free treats, and even introduced me to the owner. They said they might eventually have more options. All the pastries looked and smelled amazing, I was incredibly jealous and also grateful.
Loved the lil macaroon that came with my matcha latte (they have dairy-free milk options), and the almond cookie was so soft and chewy (but strong!), great for dipping into an unsweetened drink.
It’s a small/tight space but they do so much there and it’s amazing to see. Definitely will come back when in the area!

“Shamshiri Persian Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The food was beautifully prepared, especially the tender kebabs and the portions were generous. “I have not had much experience with Persian Cuisine and I’m glad to have tried Khaghan as their delicious rice, tender meat and delicious appetizer definitely won me over. The amount of food is also incredibly filling.
The atmosphere was great with nice decors and music. Our server was very attentive and nice!“
