Pho Hoa + Jazen Tea (Richmond)

Food is good but Service is worst, special treatment to the someone their same race its not fair.

I used to order from Pho Hoa on DoorDash all the time because I thought their combo with the drink was good. However, on my most recent order they changed the packaging. My raw beef was put on top of the soup on a tray and it cooked the beef fully. Naturally it was disappointing because I don’t eat pho for the fully cooked beef they used to put the raw beef in another small container separate from the soup. Hey, anything to cut costs right? I got in touch with the person named Mike from the restaurant and he gave me two asinine suggestions from the “manager” saying he “noted this suggestion down for next time I come in” (there will not be a next time lol) or to get DoorDash to refund my order and I told them even if they do agree to refund it (they didn’t) I still wasn’t satisfied with the quality of my meal for the night. Then Mike offered to ask the manager to call me. The manager called me for a second and hung up and then I tried calling him and it went straight to voicemail. Terrible service and terrible food. He didn’t even bother to call me back! There’s also only 3 pieces of meat in the package.

It's 2010 and I'm 20yo. We just made it in time for last call. My group of 10 were the only customers there. We ordered, food came relatively quick. Food looks so good, we were all starving after a day out. My pho had 3 pieces of meat. I asked the server if this is right, she said that's how it is, I said i'm not buying this, she said i have to, then she walked away.

I'm the the most introverted, quiet, obedient, nonconfrontational guy. My group was surprised and knew I was upset just because I talked back a little. I'm tired, hangry, and her attitude set me off I guess. I told everyone eat their pho, I'm not touching mine, and will deal with my bill later.

After about 30 seconds of discussion and rallying on my side, we all got up and left (ran). No one ate a single bite of the 10 pho bowls. By the time we all packed into two cars and started driving, we see the cook run out the door with a literal CLEVER in hand after us.

In hindsight, we are in the wrong but this is not a review of young boys. Restaurant should NOT skimp out of ingredients just because it's closing time and probably pack most away already. And staff should not chase customers with a knife.

We ate here after picking up my family from the airport. The pho was really good, and they had a really nice size serving. Would have been more amazing if it had more meat but the taste was good :)

I ordered a pho noodles beef, tendon, and tripe and summer roll. When I opened it,i am a bit disappointed with the size, small portion. I ordered a large one but as you can see in the photo, it is very small portion. The noodle was hard, usually the noodles are soft. I didnt want to waste it so, i tried to finish it. Not worth the money.

It's just an amazing place to be. The server remembered all the items we ordered and also explained the menu to us. We will definitely come back!

The price not that expensive but the food quality was awful . I calculated there were only 2 slices of raw beef ,2 slices of beef flank ,3 little pieces of beef tendon came with a large size order. Even the taste was not good. Absolutely stingy
