“I used to be a big fan of Popeyes and would often go out of my way just to grab a meal from there. One of the things I enjoyed the most was their fries – perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. But what really had me hooked were the ghost pepper chicken wings. They were consistently crispy, mildly spicy with just the right kick, and incredibly juicy. It became one of my go-to comfort foods, and I would even recommend them to friends looking for a flavorful fast food option.
However, I’ve noticed a decline in quality recently, especially with the ghost pepper wings. The wings are noticeably smaller than they used to be, and they just don’t have the same juicy tenderness I remember. Sometimes they even feel a bit overcooked or dry, which takes away from the experience. I understand that prices and portions can change over time, but it feels like the value for money has decreased. I really hope Popeyes can look into this issue – maybe by slightly increasing the portion size or adding an extra wing to the order. Loyal customers like me would really appreciate the consistency we used to love.“
“I called ahead to reserve a bank of tables for a group I was bringing in. Chanez, the manager, was ever so helpful. Telling me it'll be done as asked; if I wanted I could call on the morning of, to check/confirm.
I showed up late after a few of my guests had already arrived. Chanez had seated them & provided them complimentary sides and drinks to occupy them until I showed up, when we all put in our orders, & I paid.
The service was the best part of this visit, but the food was in no way lacking. We each got a nice plate of chicken plus side(s) & drinks, & I ordered some of the unique sides they had (Cajun Cauliflower, deep-fried pickles) for sharing. Portions were very nice -- appropriate to the prices.
10/10 would return & recommend.
Wheelchair accessibility: I went in with a dozen of us in wheelchairs & Chanez, the manager, accommodated our entire group with tables together and removed the chairs to allow us to fit in.“
