We really liked all the flavors we tasted, the expresso is terrific!, we ordered also the strawberry rose and the cereal milk!, everything was so tasty and creamy!, the staff was very gentle and friendly!, if you are looking for great quality gelato, this place is the one!
I thought I would've left a review for Sweet Surrender judging by the amount of times I cleverly have room for gelato when visiting Stevenson. They have fun and interesting flavours. Try the charcuterie if you don't believe me. And they don't stop at just gelato, they make bomb tasting cookies! Last time I ordered hazelnut gianduja and a miso peanut butter. I love the consistency of chewy and less on the crunchy side. Yum! A go to place for a sweet treat!

(Trust me when I tell you cause I take my gelato hopping very seriously)Love London fog, honk kong milk tea, Espresso and always tempted to try each flavour when I’m there.The staff has never once given me the dirts for trying one to many flavours and the owner is super fun to chat with - ask him about his time in Italy!

Nop notch gelato! Original, creative and imaginative flavors.Waffle cones are better than any others I have tasted. This is the real gelato, like that in Italy. Best gelato I have had in a long time, believe me because i dont pass a gelato shop without trying it!

Best selection of flavours with many non-dairy options. Lemon kumquat, strawberry rose, hojicha, and mango yuzu are all delicious. Their cones are crisp and very tasty as well!

Cute little place and friendly service but gelato was overly sweet. Had the pistachio and blueberry cheesecake, didn’t really taste like what I ordered. Even the cone was very sweet. Couldn’t finish. One of the more expensive shops in town. Two scoops in a waffle cone came out close to $9.50 plus tips on top… yikes! Prices have gone up again from the recent menu posted.

She’s had dozens of other places like Earnest, Timothy’s, Purdy’s, Bella, nothing can dethrone Sweet Surrender at Steveston. We’ve earned 3 free scoops in their loyalty program just on the chocolate ice cream.Other amazing flavours the adults have tried are the espresso and hojicha.
Yum!! Had gelato earlier in the day (about an hour before following lunch), so we were full. Couldn't pass up a try, though, because of the great reviews. The four of us had hazelnut, pistachio, coverture chocolate, and ruby chocolate strawberry. All were smooth and delicious! The chocolate was one of the best I've had.

One of my favourite ice cream spots in Vancouver. The interior and the overall ambience is so bright and welcoming. I love the Asian-fusion flavours, the Miso Caramel is my personal favourite.

Delicious ice flavours. I’m so glad we saw this ice cream shop as it had different flavours compared to the other competitors in the area. We tried the goat milk with nuts and the milk tea and we enjoyed both flavours. The cone was a little too thin and I’m a slow eater with ice cream so I found the cone softening up faster than I can eat it all. However very tasty ice cream and I would recommend the milk tea as it pairs perfectly with the cone. They do give a generous portion per scoop!

Visited this shop today for the first ever, and was so impressed!! Owners are so kind and generous and the quality of the ice cream was amazing ! My husband and I opted for their vegan flavors made with milk alternatives and they were both soo Delicious! We really enjoyed our experience and our yummy ice cream. 5 star reccomend!! Really good stuff. We will be coming back for sure !
