All dishes were well done - wine chicken very soft and smooth. Vegetarian duck - crispy bean curd, dumplings and buns were juicy, and the oyster rice soup was a surprise - it was 3 whole oysters instead of chopped up ones. The only disappointment was the red bean dessert - the crust was soggy and not enough red beans.
Best fried rice I have ever tasted! The place was packed within 30 minutes of us arriving at just after 5pm with lots of happy families enjoying their time together. The quality and variety of dishes were excellent as well. If I ever get the chance to come to Richmond again I would be excited to share this place with a friend.
Not only do they provide one of the best shanghainese cuisine but also they offer service in shanghainese language. We are overjoyed that they were able to serve us in our native language. Well done! Thank you!
