This place is real og and it's nearing 2 decades. Silver tower is a heavyweight contender for Hong Kong style cafe. This location has been a fantastic staple.
The food is delicious. The parking is terrible. The Cafe Aunties can be bi polar at times. It's cash only and don't you ever forget that 10% minimum tip haha. Actually I think it's 12% minimum tip now.
I've eaten so many dishes here over the years. Most of them are late night ones too. This place is great comfort food.

Looking for some good Chinese food but nothing too outrageously weird, and came upon this restaurant. Excellent food, large portions, great taste and excellent service. Service. Prices are very good. Totally recommend this restaurant.

Good enough
Ordered Baked Portugese Chicken for dinner, the amount of rice and chicken was generous and was absolutely delicious. First of all, the fried rice was well made. Not sticky or mushy, with a little bit of chewiness and eggy. Secondly was the chicken, tender and well seasoned. Thirdly there were some fried potatoes as a side, which was crispy.
Finally was the soul, the Portugese sauce. It was perfectly seasoned, not too salty and with a hint of coconut milk. The only complaint that I can make is that if they can put some onions or carrots as a side, it will even be better, but I would give it a 5/5.

The corn sauce on rice has no flavour. The fish fillet is okay but just okay.
The one thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the cashier asked for minimum tip. I am okay with tip culture but taking my money and said you must pay the minimum tip really made me sick.
I was going there regularly for late dinner. But now i wont go there ever again.

Great Asian spot, service will already be mid, but that's what you expect
Silver tower is the golden standard of HK cafés in the lower mainland. Efficient service, comfortable booth seats, and decent drinks. Get their mix and match combos or their baked dishes such as baked cream sauce basa filled & spinach on rice.
I like the food here so I ordered for takeout after work because I’m so hungry. I called to order and they said to come in 15 minutes, I came after 20 mins expecting it to be ready already. I had to wait another 25 minutes, so I think they forgot about my order and made it when I got there. Also, I was lining up to pay and this couple came after me. I told the server I was here for a takeout order she told me to wait and started talking to the couple that came after me and attended them first and took their bill. I was there first.
Came bc it was opened late. Food was so awful, I can't even call this place a restaurant. The veggie noodle and rice dishes we got was basically steamed bok choy with some type of soy sauce corn starch slurry that had no flavor. Even the included milk tea and lemon tea was not great. Don't come unless you're desperate.
