For $38 USD I rather eat the YVR carpet. Their breakfast buffet is pure crap. The atmosphere is depressing, not a single TV there. Overall I rather die.

The washroom of this lounge needs a makeover. By chance I think I went into a stall that had no toilet paper and I only realized it when I needed it!!! I never had to worry about toilet paper in any of the airport lounges around the world.

One of the nicer general lounges at YVR. I usually enjoy there limited noodle bar. Despite the limited steam line items, it has not disappointed.
Its also one of the cleanest airport lounges I have visited.
Seating options are limited.

Nicely done SkyTeam.

What a poor quality lounge. The food has no flavour. They give you 2 smallSiu Mai or 2 small prawn dumplings. Sandwiches and wraps are dry and no flavour. Butternut soup which normal no one can messy up. Tasted like dish water
You can make the food heart and not break the bank.
Have a proper noodle soup with more fillings. Then people won’t need to come up so many times. Have some rice, mixed vegetables and a tasty stir fry, curry etc. Make it simple but hearty.

Early flight, flight delayed. Nice to have a lounge to go to for breakfast. Beautiful views and lots of choice of seating and food. Too early for the free Alcohol though.

A little comment about R. Paul review below who claimed he was discriminated.
First of all there are two sides of the story (I noticed the incident) and you should not be posted pictures of someone else on social media without their approval.
Secondly, do not misappropriate ethnicity. You are South Asian and not “black.”
Also “African American” is a more appropriate term . The whole incident that you claimed made your daughter distraught is completely false. She handed the drink back politely and even with a smile.
She even warned you not to escalate the whole situation and not misrepresent what happened.
Everybody, included myself, are reminded of the 3 hours limit which makes sense as this is complimentary and you cannot expect to binge on foods and drinks forever. What business could survive that way?
Moreover more people who do not fly business class can access the lounge with priority Pass, Dragon Pass, etc…
Funny how people are always expecting more for a free service.
The drawback is that people like you who did not even contribute to generate any revenue for the business still feel like they are entitled.
You are giving a false image of a business for a situation that did not happened the way you claimed it happened.
Maybe other people were able to sneak some drinks outside and succeeded. You tried and you got caught. Rules of usage clearly state that no drink or food can be taken outside the lounge.
Sometimes you get caught, sometimes you don’t.
I guess your ego got bruised.
Rules are rules.

Our visit to the SkyTeam Lounge at Vancouver International Airport was deeply disappointing and, frankly, humiliating. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel unwelcome. We were reminded about our “time to leave” four separate times—starting just 15 minutes after we arrived. No one else around us seemed to be receiving the same treatment.

The worst moment came as we were heading out. The agent pictured approached us and took a can of Coke directly from my daughter’s hands. She was shocked and burst into tears once we stepped outside. What made this even more painful was that we had just watched three other guests—who were all white—walk out with drinks in their hands without being stopped or questioned.

It’s hard to interpret this experience as anything other than discriminatory. No family should be treated differently because of the color of their skin. We left feeling singled out, embarrassed, and hurt.

I hope the lounge management takes this seriously and ensures no one else has to go through what we did.

Pretty mediocre, to be honest. The breakfast offerings were along the lines of a 2-3 star hotel, and the noodle bar wasn't open. The doors to the washrooms were propped wide open, and the ladies' room was a bit dirty with no toilet paper. It's a nice enough place to kill time, but I certainly wouldn't pay for it.

I got in with no issues using DragonPass at around 9:30am.
Breakfast was just okay, but the noodle bar for lunch opens at 11. I had the wonton noodles and they were pretty good.
The lounge is small, but there are nice, comfy chairs, and it’s kept very clean. The cleaning staff are all very kind and polite.
It was a great way to kick off my trip!
