My wife’s favorite and not mine but I will help review for her. She ordered the staple. She can tell if the broth is stewed or powdered. She says it’s mix of both but on the bland side. For the price ( even in Vancouver ) it could have been better she says. Food court food will always be food court food.

The service is terrible, I ordered beef soup and they gave me pork soup. When I went to complain, the workers claimed that they served me beef soup and pointed out that the protein in my soup was beef, but it was clearly pork. They are so rude and do not kniw how to treat people right. I would never come here again, ever. Horrible experience.

Overpriced. $20 after tax for only few thin slices of meat, not marinade enough.
Budget friendly meal option!
Must try noodles 🍜 total worth the price for a big bowl of tasty chicken and snail rice noodle.
Very friendly service but it might be hard to communicate in English with staff as they speak Chinese/ Mandarin. However, people around you might help.
And Cash only place!

Best place to eat in Richmond! The smell isn't actually that bad. The flavour will definitely be worth your time.

I have seriously not heard of ‘snail’ noodle before. The lady behind the counter barely spoke english but I still took my chance 😂
I had the spicy beef noodle soup. I kid you not I was tearing up while eating it. It was quite good actually. Thin rice noodles, a full hard boiled egg, a soup that was supposed to be stinky but it wasn’t that bad.
It is worth a try if you can get over the though the soup was made from boiled snail. Yeah river snail. Apparently that’s a thing in Guilin. 😂

kinda skimped on the meat :( esp for $15
ordered their mei cai kou rou fan
portion size is not that generous (not as bad as the other reviewer's though) but taste is actually very solid, pork is slowcooked long enough and pickles are savory
i thought it would be mediocre because of the light color but its pretty flavorful for what it is
old woman cashier is nice but richmond public market always smells like urine (not their fault)

Very authentic taste, but I gave 4 stars because I expected just a bit more for $15. I can get a bowl of Pho with way more meat for the same price. Would've probably given 5 stars despite the price if they gave more pickled beans and fried beans! The taste is authentic to China but in China they give you a heck lot more of the side pickled goods!
Still highly recommend though, very authentic
