Steveston Built Local Taphouse & Grill

Very chill and the food was great. The prawn tacos were amazing, everything was fried perfectly and not too greasy, the drinks were great, burgers great, the prices were reasonable, service was great, etc etc. A good variety of appies, too. Definitely will come again!

Nice place. Welcoming of our group with young kids, maybe not the usual clientele. The service was quick and the food came delicious and hot! Calamari was light and perfectly crisp. The fries are super good, crunchy and seasoned nice. Mac n cheese is very cheesy, you will get a nice cheese pull shot! Friendly staff. Casual and relaxed joint.

If you are a fan of the Reuben this is by far the best on the area. Crispy fries made perfectly. Have ordered this at least a dozen times. HIGHLY recommend

We had a really good experience here, plenty of choice for good local beers, the beef dip was my first and possibly the best wr had for the entire two weeks of our holiday. I wish we spent more time in this area, and I would not only come back, but I would recommend to others

Amazing food and beer

The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! The calamari dish, in particular, was outstanding. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!

First off the server had attitude. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked for the tea menu. As she couldn't remember all the teas she had to walk and find out.
Then had attitude when I told her the food was to salty Also my girl agreed as well.
The server replied no one ever complained about the salt before but said it in a condescending way.
The costumer service was bad she never returned to our table and the place had only three people drinking beer.
This establishment use to be lively 4 yrs ago and packed. Now I understand why it's not like that anymore.
I would never recommend going there to eat so many better places next to them.
I won't even give it one star but one star was all it can give. Please do not waste your money or time.

It was requested by the barmaid that I « drink faster » (I am quoting verbatim) just after last call while I was enjoying a drink with a friend. I’m sure the service is typically much better, but being pushed out like this was a first! Funny story but disappointing experience.

Wow. The best burgers i've ever tasted. The fries were cooked perfectly. The three cheese garlic grilled cheese is my favorite item on the menu. If I could rate any higher it would be 9.5 Stars 👌🏾⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I often stop at the Built for a Cubano sandwich and pint. It's a nice little Pub with lovely food, great service and atmosphere. On a sunny day, sit outside and enjoy Steveston. Recommended!
