I don't say this lightly, just had the Greek Chicken wrap and it was amazing. Nice surprise for an airport sandwich. They warmed it up too.

1. Only hot food served is hot dogs. Had to walk across terminal for better choices. 2. Returned for a beer as it was close to gate. Refused! They were closing at 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon!!! Who does that?

The Sweet Maple Lounge (former “Market”) is an interesting place. Located in YVR’s International departures terminal (Level 3, post-security and adjacent to Gate D51), this shop is marketed as “a store and café all in one” because on top of selling the typical sundry items, it also serves up light snacks in the form of sandwiches, wraps, popcorn and potato chips. In this regard, the Sweet Maple Lounge is convenient exactly because it’s kind of out of the way – there isn’t much else nearby. At the same time, though, the Sweet Maple Lounge is similar to most of the shops in YVR. It sells a number of sundries, yes, but those items are readily available at various other shops in the airport – Hudson News, Sea to Sky Marketplace, Coastal News, etc. They all sell books, magazines, maple-themed treats, mugs and beverages. Thus, I suspect the big draw here has much more to do with the light snacks and alcoholic drinks available in the café section of the shop. The only downside, though, is the “café” of Maple Lounge is only available dependent on domestic and international flight times.

Lots of Maple Syrup products and Canadian souvenirs to buy to for friends and family when traveling abroad. Great place to shop and staff was friendly
