Edit: After a few weeks I'm back, and the metal pan is gone??? Replaced with an aluminum foil and no sizzling pans. How do you call yourself teppen kitchen when there isn't a teppen?

Definitely a 2/10. Paid extra $2 for vegetables and all that was added was two sad florets of broccoli and some onions. What a rip off. Whole dish was drowned in sauce too making it really salty and unsavory. Wont go back again.

Terrible experience. Terrible customer service and I felt unwelcome. I ordered an item and the cashier didn't say a word and didn't tell me that she rang up the item and just tapped on the register to get me to pay. I hope the food is good but my experience has already been ruined by bad customer service

Used to be really good but after management change they went downhill. Once served on a sizzling hot plate, now served in a foil container. Definitely not the same and very sad as that was Aberdeen's #1 spot in the food court.

I was trying to give NIL star. I am sure now that the Teppan Kitchen is not the one I used to go there, perhaps more than 3 years ago. It must have changed the owner. I ordered the salmon dish today. It is not served on a pan. I knew something is wrong here. It is too much salt in the sauce, the salmon seems steamed, even the rice is poorly cooked. The miso soup is tastelessly plain. How can they advertise as Teppan or Iron Pan. The food is reheat using microwave. Will never go there again. Very disappointed, the least to say. How can someone runs a food serving business like this.
If Google review had negative stars, I would definitely rate this place in the negative. It used to be decent with it’s sizzling hotplate. Now, it’s served with thinly sliced beef and take out tray. Definitely, I will not order from there again!

Growing up in Richmond I always ate here and it always surprised me how amazing it was, hot sizzling plate of food at a food court? Wow!... After ownership change around 2017 or 2018. This place went downhill , food is no longer served on tepan which was the whole point of eating there. Miso soup is just mild flavoured water. This place is dog crap now and it’s sad because I grew up eating here.
