I recently had the pleasure of dining at a cozy waterfront restaurant with a warm, rustic interior. The space felt open and bright thanks to the large windows that let in plenty of natural light, even on a drizzly day.

The seafood was the star of the show. I indulged in a beautifully presented seafood platter that included scallops, oysters, and shrimp, all generously covered in garlic and finely chopped herbs. The scallops, in particular, were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful, complemented by the mild sweetness of the garlic. My Partner and I were craving some fish and chips and decided to go to Steveston. Usually we go to Pajos but decided to try The Crab King, the food was so good. The fish was crispy but not greasy and portions were so large. I was so pleasantly surprised and service was great and fast. I do believe that it is family owned and had to write something to let people know of another place to eat if they would like fish and chips or seafood. The restaurant itself was clean, but the decore was a bit old school. But let's be honest we go to a place for service and food and both those were great. We will go back forsure.

Went there twice in 1 week. Brought grandkids there first time, order clam chowder, calamari, fish n chips. All good, reasonable price, good view from the restaurant, nice atmosphere. Went there today to have soft shell crab burger again, food is still very good.

Parking: If you don't mind to walk, there are plenty of free parking.

Absolutely terrible fish and chips. Don't waste your time going here. It took about 15 mins for our server to take our order. We got waters in paper cups with no ice. The fish was so greasy and flavorless. Go anywhere else. Don't make the mistake we made.

I came here with my family and wasn't hungry, once I tried a bite of the food it was delicious! The price was not pricey at all either.

Understaffed and very slow service. Quality of fish and chips was very poor. No flavour to the fish or the batter and it was extremely greasy. Our fish came with a black hair attached to it and when we asked to send it back, she said we would have to wait another 15 minutes or she would just take the piece of fish off that had the hair on it and charge us for a one piece instead of two. We were shocked and disappointed overall

Fish and chips were ok. Nothing special. Chose to eat here as they had a hamburger on the menu for my daughter who is allergic to fish. Sadly it wasn’t worth 14.99. It didn’t come with fries either.
Staff were friendly.
