Stopped in today For the first time and had the softshell crab burger along with the onion rings. We also ordered the salmon, fish and chips. Soft crab burger, Crab portion Was much smaller than shown in the photos. A little bit to Oceany for my liking also. However, the onion rings and the salmon, fish and chips were excellent, Especially the salmon, which was very lightly battered just like I like it. Also, the tartar sauce is excellent! Service is average, our food came, and we were not checked on during our stay, but the staff did come by and clear a few plates and dropped off a couple of napkins after I requested them. The restaurant is located on the Barge, which is nice, but I feel that the interior needs a little bit of an upgrade - seems a little bit worn.

The sign got me, at lobster burger. I was quite excited. Husband ordered beef burger. The positives are, lovely quaint spot on the water. Nice beer. No one else was in the restaurant. I spent $30 on the lobster burger. I was very disappointed. It was deep fried in batter on a roll and way too much aioli and thing else. Could t really taste the lobster. Although mine was better than hubbys burger that was practically a Macdonald burger.

Visited The Crab King this evening and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the crab and seafood noodles—both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the meal even more enjoyable. The staff, especially the waitresses, were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves seafood!

I recommend this restaurant. We stopped here as we were walking around Fisherman’s Wharf. The cook at the time was Cantonese. We asked for our dishes with a Chinese style. We got a whole Dungeness Crab, steamed oysters and steamed scallops along with a bowl of the seafood chowder (that was more American). The staff was polite. The food was fresh and tasted good. The inside of the restaurant was modest. Not elegant, but appropriate for the location off the boardwalk.

Excellent service. My family was going to order individual orders of their Seafood Pasta for 4 people and the waitress could have just taken our order, but she warned us the orders were large and suggested only 3 to share. Fish and chips were excellent: cod was crispy and tasted fresh and the fries were piping hot. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Stopped over for a quick lunch one day while walking around the wharf- we enjoyed our meal. With the Asian style fish & chips and yam fries. The service was excellent, very kind and its quite nice to be sitting near the water.
Would recommend:)

Come to Steveston often and thougt about giving The Crab King a try. We liked walked down a ramp to get into the waterside restaurant. Almost like a houseboat. We weren`t terribly hungry , so, we tried the Wild Cod and fries as well as the Halibut and fries. Both were quite nice, very clean oil. It also had a unique breading. Not oily at all. Will come again to try the crab
