Brought by local friends.
It was my first time in Richmond. I heard that this was a local dim sum restaurant with relatively novel decoration.
The porridge is really great, dense and tasty.
There are other meals that I didn’t have time to take pictures of.
Should come more often to try different dishes.
It's good to eat some big dishes every time.

I’ve never tasted such a lousy and poorly done Stir Fry Choi Sum with Beef.
The vegetable was simply boiled and the beef was tasteless, very tough and over done in bowling water.
Even rural area Chinese restaurant offers much presentable dish.

In a nutshell, this place just doesn't match up with what we expect from real Cantonese food, especially Hong Kong style. That deep-fried pastry thing? I seriously thought they brought us the wrong dish. And get this - the shrimp wraps still had shells on them! I mean, some dishes were fine, but honestly, not worth your time.

Horrible experience please avoid this place!
They charged us extra for food that we didn’t even order. And the manager was horrible.

Again, there is many options near by. Just avoid this place.

Food delicious, large variety of options , a very spacious restaurant pair with a poor service, what a shame . I am surprise none of the staff including staffs wearing suits ( looks like they are the supervisors or managers) give you a nice feeling , let alone good service, but I don’t think they care , they always busy .

The Deluxe Chinese Restaurant offers great food and friendly service. The dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, and the atmosphere is cozy. The only downside was the wait time, which was a bit longer than expected. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it

The design of this restaurant looks fancy and minimalisticly decorated. Came here for dim sum a few years ago and can't really remember the taste. Came back recently for dinner. The price is on a higher end. All the food that we ordered was delicious. Service was ok.

The main courses were delicious, but the desserts were underwhelming—too sweet and in small portions. While the staff was friendly, they lacked knowledge about the menu and couldn’t explain the dishes clearly.

Can’t complain with the service and the ambiance. Food is okay, for their price you can get better from other chinese restaurant in the area. Paid $160 for 2 Chinese Cuisine menu and 1 fried rice.

*some plates and utensils are dirty.

Came here from several family and friend recommendations, however it failed to live up to the hype. We had 9 dim sum dishes and only the egg tarts were good 😢 we left feeling disappointed for how much we spent.

We were here for dinner, and Deluxe is definitely one of the better Cantonese restaurants, similar to Shun Feng. Similar service and price. Food was delicious, we ordered the lobster Typhoon Shelter style. The shells were double fried, but the flavour was slightly bland, needs more garlic infused oil.

*Warning* If you have little kids, ask for a high chair otherwise, be expected to pay the $3 tea fee - ridiculous! I spoke to the manager but they wouldn't budge on waiving the fee.

5 adults and 2 children under 4. Prices were on the higher end and the place was bright and clean. Although the food and service was actually decent, I will definitely not be coming back with this ridiculous policy.
