Was a bit sceptical because of the reviews, but tbh what I got was really good, the girl at the front was sp nice and offered to heat my sandwich, really tasty and price wise knowing that it’s an airport was totally fine!

Never really leave bad reviews but I just wanted a water, which takes less than a minute to ring up. The woman told me to wait while she took a phone call in front of me and then told me to wait 5-10 minutes while she leaves to get her credit card. She seemed like she may have not been in a sober mindset overall, So I just left. Could also hear them screaming lyrics very loudly in the back.

I've had many a baguette in Montreal and France and I can say in earnest this is one of the worst ones I've ever had.

Well conceptionally, the sandwich made sense the soggy baguette, cold brie which was not soft and a lack of any aïoli or mayonnaise, made this sandwich an absolute disaster.

I should've trusted my gut and eaten my trail mix and crackers instead.

I'm always reluctant to eat it in the airport, but my flight was late and I was given a meal voucher.

Caveat Emptor is a phrase that is decidedly applicable when dining at the airport, on an airplane (business class or economy), and in a hospital.

I will embrace this school of thought when having my next meal well en route somewhere.

⛔️ Food Safety Warning ⛔️

I purchased a kale chicken salad box, and unfortunately the food was not safe for consumption. The kale was not properly cleaned and had tiny insects visibly attached to it.
This is a serious food safety and public health concern. Raw vegetables must be thoroughly washed and handled according to food safety standards, and this basic requirement was clearly not met.
I strongly caution anyone reading this review to avoid this location if you value your health. Incidents like this are unacceptable and require immediate corrective action to ensure customer safety.

The service is absolutely terrible. The people working don’t even acknowledge you, they just stand there looking at you, like you are inconveniencing them. I said hello and thank you. The person literally didn’t even make eye contact and walked away. Terrible terrible service. The staff should be taking some training on costumer service and basic communication skills.

The food was delicious and I loved that there was a healthier option at the airport. My only complaint is that they forgot to give me my salted caramel crackle cookie which I paid for. I didn’t notice until after I left the airport at which point it was too late to go back. Really disappointing since it looked so yummy.

Got a terrible overpriced baguette sandwich with some sort of spongy fake meat in it, tasted like cardboard.

After a long trip, It was nice to find a place with healthy meals ! And thanks to the wonderful person who kept my book for me until it found its way back home all the way to Australia! The amazing team were amazing and diligent.

If they could charge you more, they would. It’s a rip off along with many more restaurants at this airport. Once great, greed has ruined my experience and opinion of YVR.

I realize airport anything costs more, but $30 for a coffee, bottle of water and a breakfast bagel? The bagel was like $17, so I assumed it would be amazing. The flavour was nice, but it was soooo wet that it was falling apart in my hands and leaking through the wrapper. I had to throw almost half away before I wore it. The sauce and tomato were the main culprits here... so, not very satisfied, still kinda hungry. The coffee was good, staff are nice
nice.

Their bagels are fresh and flavourful! I also tried the chai latte which was excellent as well. Quite expensive, but not more so than other places at the airport, and definitely better quality!

Food is great but just 1 person working the whole operation. Gave her a great tip as obviously a management issue but very stressful experience for long line of customers needing to make flight connections. Took 25 min to be served.

All things at YVR-or any airport-are expensive, but in comparison, this place is at least twice as much product for half the cost of Starbucks! Served up fast and very polite. True, just black coffee and a muffin, but the coffee was good and the muffin was a feast! No fluffy cake mix here! The tip took me over 10$ with whatever tax BC may be charging. No pics-I was hungry!
