The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Richmond South

Visited this charming spot in Richmond. Service was top-notch; kudos to the friendly staff! While the salmon was delicious, the steak didn't quite meet our expectations. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with room for improvement on the menu.

Atmosphere and service was amazing! Went there for the very first time yesterday, food was a bit disappointing however the overall service and people where more then kind ☺️

Prime rib is the best! Great service at this location, lots of parking, great place to enjoy a delicious dinner!

Gotta say the keg is consistently good. Service is great and they know how to keep customers happy. Lots of restaurants nowadays feel like you have to compromise somewhere, be it food or service, at the keg you get everything. And if a mistake does happen they make it right. Service like this is rare nowadays. Also the Billy Miner pie might be the best restaurant dessert of all time.

I ordered the cheeseburger. Since it was my friends birthday.

The burger was decent, however the fries weren't flavorful. I expected more since I always heard the Keg was a higher tier.

I would return if there was nothing around that was worth trying.

For some reason me and my friends were seated in a dark corner of a room. It felt very uncomfortable alongside the dark lighting.

The Keg is consistently good. Went with spouse and kid and all left happy and well fed. Steaks were all cooked as ordered, very tender, and well seasoned. Veggies were not over/under cooked. Definitely go back when in the area.

I was at this Keg on Saturday night and I thought this was going to be a nice experience but that was probably the last time I go to the Richmond Keg. My steak, was so chewy that it took my a minute just to chew it through. It was not a good sirloin cut. The lobster was this tiny flat piece. To top it off, the server (I know his name but not going to call him out here - no intention to get someone fired here) seemed to have a problem with me for no reason at all. I was being pleasant so not sure what happened. When I asked a question or mention something to him, he stares into space and doesn't even look at you then gives you a passing answer. Yet I still tipped this guy a reasonable tip... hope he learns that even if the doesn't like a customer 'just cause', maybe at least fake it - people pay good money there. You'd think you spend $260 on a dinner, it would be a decent experience - not the case that night. It was my daughter's birthday dinner too to boot. Very disappointed and never again.
