Good breakfast options. Their seafood platter however (dinner menu) seemed a bit expensive for what you get. Otherwise, we have always been happy with the service and food.
Had dinner and brunch. Both were delicious.
Service was great and the food was fantastic. Need to go back for brunch plus more menu exploration. Great little spot

The Story Cafe - Eatery & Bar is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. With its eclectic decor and fun vibe, this restaurant serves outstanding food and craft cocktails, along with a good selection of local beer and wine. The menu features a range of options, including western and Italian cuisine, and dishes like shrimp scampi and Homemade Lasagne. Visitors have praised the atmosphere, fresh fruit and veggies at brunch, and homemade cinnamon scones. The location is convenient, just a few minutes from the train station, though reservations are not available online, which can lead to waiting outside in bad weather. The outdoor covered patio space is spacious and has heaters for cooler days. Guests enjoy the friendly, courteous, and attentive service, making it a great spot for a night out or a meal before a cruise. The restaurant has become a beloved spot for diners, who appreciate the varied menu, including tacos, calamari, and truffle fries.
Many visitors have found the food delicious and the atmosphere charming, describing it as a funky, industrial chic spot. The service is friendly, though sometimes slow, but the quality of the food, such as the linguine carbonate and the warm maple pecan bread pudding with vanilla ice cream, makes it worth the wait. Recent reviews highlight an excellent breakfast experience with good service and a cool ambiance. For dinner, dishes like Duck Breast and Creamy Truffle Mushroom Gemelli were enjoyed, though some felt the Mushroom Gemelli could use more depth. The drinks, such as Dancing in Soho and Electric Lemonade, were also noted, with the former being a favorite. Desserts like the Hot Banana Cake received praise, while suggestions for improvement included better pairing for the warm maple pecan bread pudding. Overall, The Story Cafe is highly recommended for those seeking a fun, casual dining experience with a varied menu and reasonable prices. The small venue maintains a pleasant atmosphere, making it a worthwhile visit.
