I haven't actually gone here when i'm flying out because I didn't know what they had; here's some menu pics I grabbed omw back into Van in Jan 2024 to help other travellers.

It is a pretty cute place. I came in around 8 pm and they rushingly asked me to order because they were closing at 9. I would not say that the girl was particularly rude, however the fact that she was rushing me did not land well with me. I understand that closing is stressful, I work in retail and I totally get the stress. However I feel that customer service should go above and beyond for your customers.

The service was good, friendly. I liked the atmosphere. The avocado toast was terrible. Tasted like a store bought avocado spread that was past its due date - Do not get the avocado toast! They honestly should take this off the menu if they can’t find fresh avocado, it was bad.

If having a chat to a fellow traveller constitutes being victimised and refused a drink based on a conversation about wines on offer and Australian/ Indian cricket, I certainly do not recommend this place. After explaining my situation and asking for water in the hopes the attendant would understand, jovial conversation, I was still cut off, embarrassed and abruptly told security would come should I not leave. Here’s to having a pizza before a flight!

Don’t get the butchers board….. you can just get the ingredients from yesterdays news and save 15$ … 27$ for Safeway cold cuts :) and dried out

I just bought a cheap tasting 5oz glass of wine and stale breakfast sandwich for almost $40 with tip and tax and I am being rushed out because I didn't finish my meal 14 minutes after I ordered it because they were closing. HORRIBLE service.

Was looking for something breakfasty before my 1pm flight so settled on avocado toast. It looked fairly pretty when it came but even the fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes couldn't make up for the horrible avocado spread they used underneath. It was obviously not fresh mashed and seasoned avocado and it was such a thin smear over the two small over-toasted pieces of bread. Once I saw the portion size I asked if I could get a couple fried eggs to top it with but was informed they only had egg patties or hard boiled eggs... So disappointing. Service was kind and apologetic but I'm glad that was all I ordered.

Very bad service, server don’t even acknowledge you, asked for a menu, the guy pointed at the table with a QR code, without saying anything, I would rather stay hungry than ever going there again…

Extremely rude server (Michael), stood waiting for 10 minutes while he walked pass talking to his worker colleague. Food was good, terrible service.

The atmosphere was okay but the food was very disappointing. I understand that expectations should be low at an airport…but the posters featuring fresh pizza are very misleading. We had a luke warm overcooked penne bolognaise. We also tried a “Pizzetta”which I guess is meant to hide the fact it is not actually pizza (contrary to the pictures at the front. I would describe it as cardboardy flatbread with cheese on top. I almost forgot. It’s very expensive considering what you get.

Really bad pizza, basil & tomato had no tomatoes, like the picture at the front, & a small old piece of basil on each slice, alittle burned too.The glass of wine for $18 was maybe 6 ounces? I asked about both pizza & wine & the east Indian waiter acted personally offended! Customer service not good! I asked him to write his managers name down. Mr. Simone Dominique. I know this is "just " an airport restaurant, but they pose as a nice place. Bwt, I ate at one in Calgary 2 weeks ago & it was fantastic!!Today I spent $40 for bad pizza & a half cup of wine. Welcome to BC!!

Lager was sour, pizza tasted and looked like it came out of a freezer. $42 after tip. Why did I bother.

After paying $50 for 2 5oz glasses of wine, I asked to have my water bottle filled. Was met with shockingly rude response offering a fountain near the washroom down the terminal instead.Disappointing service.

Ordered the cheese plate and Sommelier Series flight. One of the cheeses was edible. The other 2 were below average at best. Poor presentation… glob of jam, almonds and dried bread. I am generous in saying the 2 glasses had 2 ounces of wine. I asked the waiter and he said that’s what you get… for $20. My bill was over $40… total rip off. I travel the world so I do have some experience in airports…Would not recommend Vino Volvo.
