At dusk, sit down and have a cup of British drinks. The Belgian chocolate and Matcha latte are average, but you can see a small part of the sea. There are not many people at dusk on weekdays. The shop is big and you can sit comfortably?

Stopped by for a coffee and cake and was disappointed. Next time, ask when the loaves were baked before ordering. Had the matcha loaf and the lemon loaf. The matcha loaf was hard and dry. Even after it was warmed up, the loaf was hard and not moist at all. Definitely a waste of $4.95. Ordered a decaf coffee and ended up with an Americano with milk. Don't know if the cashier heard me correctly or they didn't have decaf coffee. Anyways, nothing special about the coffee. Birds kept flying in and out of the store which is bad feng shui. Nothing special to report.

Good ambiance and plenty of seating. Their washrooms were clean. Had the Belgian Hot Chocolate, Spinach Feta Bistro and Tiramisu Cheesecake.Deducting two stars because I was looking forward to the cheesecake but it was probably the worst cheesecake I've had in Vancouver. The other two menu items were good!Vegetarian options: Spinach Feta Bistro

Waves Steveston USED to have great staff , customer service and coffee. Seems like there has been a change in ownership perhaps. Yes the view and outdoor patio is a plus but that is All that is good about this location right now. But barely as the patio tables and desks were filthy. We had to use our own cleaning wipes to clean the tables and chairs .I went there on a Monday to try their Latte. It was creamy and hot but seriously could not taste any coffee in it . I ended up bringing it home and added my own brewed coffee in it . But the worse part of my visit was when I asked for some whipped cream (just a little) for my small fur baby who was sitting outside in the Patio with my husband. The cashier told me that there would be a charge for the whip cream . I said really ? I have had it here in this location and other Waves without a charge . As well other coffee places gladly offer it when told it is a treat for furry pals. Some like Santuary Coffee even Offer the whip cream with a doggie treat on it with a smile .The barista also needs to smile more as it was painful watching him make everyone ‘a coffee. If you can’t exude a warm friendly face why bother working ?Definitely will NOT be back to this location nor will we be recommending this location .

Both staff members who were working spoke very poor English. Was extremely frustrating to communicate with. Price for a muffin and kids hot chocolate was ridiculous

Cheesecake not fresh tasting. Coffee was subpar. Complained about cheesecake no refund told me that it was newly arrived. Told them to throw the cake. Didn’t freak out complaining just asked them to throw the cake calmly.
IncompetenceDidn’t have egg nog. Mixing up orders. Person making drinks was licking her fingers and sampling the dessert. Waited half an hour.

Service.Went to Steveston Fisherman's market yesterday, looked pretty at the entrance and went in. An Asian guy ordered coffee for us, with a blank face and no expression. When I asked him for two cups of hot water, he charged me 1.05 dollars, which was unbelievable. I still can't believe it. Coffee stores must be supposed to provide hot water for free.Environment.My friend wanted to take some pictures and the clerk rushed over and said no, I've been watching you for a long time. There's no sign in the store that says u're not allowed to take photos.Produce.The Iced Americano was very bland in flavor and not as good as the one I made at home. The espresso was richer in fat. The cappuccino was not sweet at all.I can't understand how a chain coffee shop in North America can provide such poor service and products.

Plenty of space. Often I see groups congregate here. Popular with students as well. It's located on Fisherman's wharf at Steveston. It has big windows that let a lot of ambient light in. They have plenty of food to offer from wraps to sandwiches to pastries. I ordered the chicken pesto wrap. It's good sized. I like it. Lots of coffee choices too. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. There's plenty of parking space as well.
