I had such a fantastic experience at Wendyâs YVR branch that I genuinely felt compelled to share a detailed review. Traveling can be exhaustingâlong lines, security checks, delayed flightsâbut this Wendyâs location turned what could have been an ordinary airport meal into something truly enjoyable and comforting.
From the moment I approached the counter, I noticed how organized and efficient everything was. Even with a steady flow of travelers, the staff handled orders smoothly and professionally. The team members were welcoming, patient, and incredibly polite. They greeted customers with warm smiles and maintained a calm, positive energy despite the busy airport environment. That kind of service makes a huge difference, especially when you're rushing to catch a flight.
The cleanliness of the branch stood out immediately. The dining area was well-maintained, tables were promptly cleaned, and the counters were spotless. For an airport branch that likely serves hundredsâif not thousandsâof customers daily, maintaining that level of cleanliness is impressive and speaks volumes about their management and staff discipline.
Now, the foodâabsolutely satisfying. My burger was freshly made, hot, and perfectly assembled. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, the patty was juicy and flavorful, and the bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting soggy. You can really tell they prepare the food with care. The fries were golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and properly saltedâexactly how fries should be.

Okay if youâre desperate for a bite. I just got off of a 5 hr flight in Christmas Day and was very hungry so decided to get this before connecting for my next 6 hr flight. Even though I was hungry, the food was still just ok. Burgers were quite dry and fries were underwhelming, even for fast food. Fries were stale and not very hot. Extra charge for bottled water even when getting the meal that comes with a drink

Please be very careful about this fastfood as they serve raw meat when it gets busy. They are lucky that I am the one who was eating the burger and not a child. They didnât even say sorry or anything esp. The filipina lady who is on duty today - acted like nothing had happen and it was just normal incident. Just imagine. Dec 28, 2025 @9:30pm.

Went to this Wendy's at YVR on December 11th around 2â3 a.m. Their system was down and they weren't serving food, but the place was still open with no sign or announcement. Several customers were left standing at the counter for several minutes while staff stayed in the back talking to eachother and didn't acknowledge anyone. We only found out they weren't serving after someone asked. Poor communication, especially for an airport location.
Everytime we had to come here they always saying theyre not serving even when its still openâ system always down almost everydayâmight aswell close it that putting an ad that its open 24h the least you can do is to let people know that you are not serving than making them wait in line and hiding at the back

System of store is very bad. We can for water they said we can't give you tap water. You can buy water bottle from here. And when we were ready to buy bottle they don't have room temperature water. Very bad customer service and rules

Around 12:00pm I was getting lunch with my two older grandparents who are leaving for a trip. Even though it was noon on a saturday, it was not busy at that time and we were the only customers. The lady taking the order from my grandpa was being very rude and impatient and whenever he asked a simple question (Such as âHow big are your cup sizes?â or âCan you make the burger without mayo?â) she would ignore him until he had to ask again then she would answer in a tone as if it was obvious and as if he was being a hindrance. My grandpa is genuinely a very generous person and acted like it didnât bother him but it doesnât make it okay and I had to step in to clarify the order with her because she was being very huffy.
I totally understand being annoyed working in customer service - Iâve worked in customer service for a long time, I get it - but making an older man feel like a burden for asking simple questions to make sure he gets what he pays for is not acceptable.
