Quiet good food in the public market. Friendly service and tasty. But being in the open area was very noisy and difficult to find a seat. I usually do a take out instead.

If you’re looking for great value Chinese food, check out Wonder Wok! I got three items with rice or noodles for just $16 — an awesome deal. I picked green beans, bitter melon, and short ribs. Also grabbed a small fried calamari on the side for $13. Totally worth it!
I enjoyed the food and special atmosphere as well.

Hong Kong Style Lobster - $29
Small portion, over cooked and freezer burned.

The Hong Kong style one is one of my favorite. Be ready to smell like garlic for the next 3 days however 😂

Hurray, we found a new gem inside the Richmond Public Market. Wonder Wok—is no doubt a game changer in Chinese set plates located in the food court! Their unique, quality ingredients and dishes really set them apart, and the friendly staff make the experience even better. I always didn’t like eating in this type of fast food serving style as I thought they’re just about the same everywhere (lack of uniqueness and same cooking style), no but not here. It’s like the quality dining in a Chinese fine dining restaurant. For just $15, you get a large tray or a set meal with rice plus three sides and free soup. Good deal!
Definitely my new go-to favourite for a food court Chinese cuisine!

A food stall in Richmond Public Market, which has dozens of other food stalls offering tempting options. What attracted me to Wonder Wok was the mountain of fried goods on the window of the buffet. I ordered 3 items with carb option, which was the best value for the price.
First of all, for the carb, get the chow mein. It's perfectly cooked, with charred taste, not too oily. The deep fried squid tentacles was great, along with popcorn chicken, perfect if you are craving for fried food. I also liked the pork riblets with squash and black bean sauce. My wife adored the eggplant with fish balls, as well as honey garlic pork. The order came with soup or tea, and I opted for the soup, which I did not regret. The soup was simple broth, refreshing for after meal.
While I only visited a few times, I'd dare to say that Wonder Wok is my favourite stall in the market as we speak.

I love their sweet and sour pork! Some of the best I’ve ever had. The portions are generous and it’s affordable! The staff are always friendly. It’s the public market, so it smells like uncooked meat and fish a little in there.

Everyone, please don't come here. The female boss has a bad attitude. She thinks she's awesome. When I order takeout, I won't give you a bag. I won't let you swipe your credit card to buy it. I brought two plates of food and spilled them on the car. In fact, their food is not that good. The taste is average.

I tried three dishes here, and the prices were very reasonable. The noodles were especially great, with a portion size that exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Overall, a good spot for a satisfying meal at a fair price.

Food was a 3.75. I rounded up for the actual stars.
The popcorn was good not memorable. Sauteed gai lan was cooked well. It was seasoned well and has a good crunch still. The beef short ribs were a little tough. The flavor on these were underwhelming.
All the food was just luke warm. Crank up them lamps and chaffing troughs.

We ordered the sweet and sour pork, eggplants and deep fried squid. Very delicious and gave us a good amount. The ladies that worked there were nice as well! Will definitely be back.
