YM Food LTD HK Style BBQ

This is a meat shop located on the market level of Richmond Public Market. The signage of the shop is listed as YM Food, which is the abbreviation of the shop's full name. The shop offers up fresh meats, Chinese sausages and Chinese barbecue. The latter of which has its own area separated from the butcher items. My family bought some roast pork which was delicious and reasonably priced at about $14 CAD per pound. Although this shop isn't as famous as other Chinese barbecue spots in Richmond like HK BBQ Master and Parker Place Meats, I think it is worth a try based on the quality and price.

WORST SERVICE EVER. Service is very bad!!! She is very rude over the phone and does not understand a thing I’m saying! You need to improve your service if you’re standing a business. This is way overboard. So rude and saying that I should come over instead? I’m calling you guys because it is inconvenient for me! You cant ask me to come and say you cant understand? Improve yourselves!

Came here due to the good reviews saying they’re on par with hk bbq master. I don’t think so! They’re just ok, nothing worth giving another try.

It’s on the first floor. This place is incredible, the bbq is so good, and it sells fast. she doesn’t accept tips. This will be my go to place for HK bbq.

Some of the best HK BBQ in Richmond. Between this place and HK BBQ master it's a toss-up. Great food at great value.

Roasted pork was cold and tasted bland. It was crispy but the taste was not as good as I’ve had it in other places in town.

The BBQ meats here are phenomenal! The sauces and BBQ flavour is uniquely pleasant and on equal ground with Hong Kong BBQ master in Richmond in my opinion. It may not look like much from the outside but their products are so good!

The BBQ sausage and chicken wings were delicious and perfectly basted in sweet and salty soy sauces. Juicy meat!

I ordered the BBQ pig tongue, and yes, it is adventurous and exotic sounding but it literally tastes just like fresh spam! For all spam lovers! It's even soft like spam. So... Trust me... If you try it you'll be like, this is just like spam! Maybe spam is made from pig tongue then?

The Chinese sausages at this place rocks! Pure satisfaction. The bbq meats is what this place is known for and it doesn’t disappoint. But seriously try the Chinese sausages!!!
