Prospector Pub Reviews
Had lunch yesterday with friends, after the Rock Creek Christmas Craft Fair.( Dec 6th) The pub was packed. Our lunches were terrific. We had a Club house, Beef dip, and Crispy Chicken burger. All with fries & gravy. Plates were full and lunch was hot. We enjoyed it very much !
Nice decor and long history. But food are average and very slow service.
Just had a great lunch ! Thank you !

The Prospector Pub, situated in a small town, has been operating since 1894 and offers a unique and historical dining experience. The pub is known for its rough and unpolished atmosphere, which adds to its charm. The pub's deck provides a scenic view of the river, making it a great place to mingle with other travelers and locals.
The menu features a variety of options, including a burger, a beer, and a Chef salad. While the food is generally well-received, some customers have reported a fly problem that can be distracting. The service at the Prospector Pub is friendly and attentive, with staff going the extra mile to ensure customers have a positive experience.
Customers have praised the pub's Shepherd's pie, describing it as delicious with a thick gravy, flavorful vegetables, and creamy potatoes topped with melted cheese. The homemade pies are also a highlight, with one reviewer calling them "worth every penny." The pub's warm and kind staff, along with its historic memorabilia and relaxed atmosphere, make it a must-try destination for those passing through.
