I’ve tried the pub a few times . Never really felt it was up to snuff. But last night Oct 19 2023 . The waiter Dave or David was on top of everything. And most amazing…he was running the front end entirely by himself. Last night I was impressed. Give this fellow a big hand for keeping roughly 30 customers happy and orders filled . Food was fantastic only had the Chef salad. Only reason why it gets a 4 star is that they have a crazy fly problem not fun to eat with flies consistently in your face and on your food.

I've dropped into this place occasionally for the past 20 years. A burger and a beer, a chat with a local and back on the road. It's one of the few remaining 1800s operating bars in BC's hinterland. We lose one every decade or so. The Beaverdel went down in the 2000s. The Tulameen, I'm afraid might be the next. This building was built in 1894. I want it to be rough.
