We left after a half hour of no service. We saw 2 other groups leave who had waited about the same length of time.

Their coffee is good cuz I don't do alcohol while driving. We stop for lunch and are never disappointed.

Food was good, but each dish came out 20 minutes apart. My son finished his dinner as my wife started hers and I started mine as she was finishing

Nice looking place. Just stopped in today to check out the menu and quickly use the washroom. The place was vacant, nobody came out to seat us, or ask us what we needed. When I was in the washroom, the elderly "waitress" came and rudely told my girlfriend the washroom is for "customers only", and asked her to leave after she explained I was in the washroom. They also have a lottery sign, so we asked if we could check a lottery ticket. She snapped quickly, "they do that at the gas station." After that we refused to order anything and promptly left. Rudest restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of stopping by. No idea how they stay in business with that attitude. My advice, never stop here, you will be extremely disappointed unless you are a local. Don't waste your time. I wish I could give it 0 stars for the rude horrible old lady that pretends to be a waitress. There's other spots, and is rather make my own food anyways, because I doubt anything would be good here, and I wouldn't doubt she would "tamper" with people's food she didn't like. Once again, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! Now I know why the place was completely void of customers. Go somewhere else where you'll be appreciated and treated with respect. 4 thumbs down. ????

I've dropped into this place occasionally for the past 20 years. A burger and a beer, a chat with a local and back on the road. It's one of the few remaining 1800s operating bars in BC's hinterland. We lose one every decade or so. The Beaverdel went down in the 2000s. The Tulameen, I'm afraid might be the next. This building was built in 1894. I want it to be rough. I don't expect self appointed urban foodie critics to like the place. In fact, the more I hear from them, the better I like it. My truck broke down last year near Rock Creek. The visit date on the site did not go back to June 2022 when I was there last, thus the 2023 posted date. I had a great night eating and drinking beer on the deck overlooking the river with some newly befriended locals. Then I spent the night in one of the rooms upstairs before catching a ride to KTown for truck parts. The room was hot, the bed sagged and squeaked and the open window was right above the highway where transport trucks rolled by. I loved it! This is not a polished 5 star palace. It's legitimately old and doesn't hide from that. It's in a small..no...tiny town where staff are even harder to find than in the city. I don't care if the fries are a bit cold or the server forgot to put ketchup on the table. I don't care if the next beer took a bit longer to come than it would in a Yaletown bar or a breasteraunt like Earls. And I like talking to the locals to find out what's happening rather than cloister at a table, polishing the cutlery with a napkin while looking around for impending danger. I usually pass by here on a motorcycle in riding season. It's a great place to find other riders. If you risk anxiety being in the same room as black leather (or hi-vis green) and oil stained boots, relax. We don't bite. Nor do we b1+c6 about little issue that comes with the challenges of trying to run a customer service business at the side of a secondary highway out in the weeds. Enjoy this old place for what it is and not for what you want it to be. We're all lucky that it's still standing. Sit on the back deck and watch the river go by. If that doesn't do something for you, you took the wrong road. I know I'll be back when that road calls in the spring.

Lots of dead animals on the walls and the food is all Sysco system. But still a cosy place to stop and rest

I’ve tried the pub a few times . Never really felt it was up to snuff. But last night Oct 19 2023 . The waiter Dave or David was on top of everything. And most amazing…he was running the front end entirely by himself. Last night I was impressed. Give this fellow a big hand for keeping roughly 30 customers happy and orders filled . Even took time to chat with almost everyone at one point in time thru out the evening. So it was a great 70 th birthday dinner for Kim . And a amazing waiter ….well done

The pub is going continually downhill. The service was atrocious. The steak sandwich was a huge disappointment. This is our local pub and it’s sad to see it getting worse with every visit.

Food was fantastic only had the Chef salad. Only reason why it gets a 4 star is that they have a crazy fly problem not fun to eat with flies consistently in your face and on your food.

Prospector Pub is a tradition for the wife and I anytime we come through Rock Creek. Great food at great prices, plus a great aesthetic and great staff. Can you say great again? Yes this place is great. I would recommend for any would be travelers because, let's face it, all the locals already know about it.
