While passing through Salmo, I came across this cozy little place conveniently located next to the highway. Despite offering a limited selection of food, they have a wide variety of coffees available. The service was excellent, the soup was delicious, and the sandwiches were good. The service was quick as well. Overall, a pleasant stop.
This is a great place for a refreshment after a long drive or get-together with friends after a day out in the backcountry. However, the cafe is starting to show it's age and could benefit from an upgrade.

Make sure you pull off hwy 3 to get some food here. It's worth the very short detour!Would be 5 stars if they had more GF options,(ie soup/baked goods) that's my only 'complaint'. Their paninis with GF bread are amazing though!
