Late last week I got a 6-in club from this location. Within 8 hours I was violently ill with sickness and diarrhea. I was the only person in our group to eat subway and was the only sick one.
It took me 4 days to recover from the symptoms.
Now seeing previous reviews, I will certainly not returning or recommend this Salmo location.
I had the best laugh at this Subway today! I asked for extra olives on my sub — and in the notes I wrote something like: “When you think it’s enough, add more. Seriously, the blacker the better.” 😂 When I showed up, the guy making my sub asked if I was Kerry, and when I said yes, we all had a good laugh about my olive obsession. He absolutely nailed it — olive heaven! 🫒🫒🫒
Meanwhile, my friend ordered a meatball wrap (yes, you read that right). The worker tried to warn her, and even added lettuce first to try to protect the wrap from soggy meatball chaos, but she doubled down. Watching it all unfold was hilarious — and honestly, he did his best to engineer a miracle!
The whole experience was fun, friendly, and tasty. This Subway deserves credit for not just the food, but for making the whole visit a great memory. I’ll definitely be back (and yes, with extra olives again). Thanks Preet! Ps, the wrap didn't get soggy.
WINNING!

Well after 7 days in the woods at shambula this was the best subway sandwich of my life 😂
I came here and got a meatball sub... I got really bad food poisoning from it and my guts have been hurting among other things for 2 days since I came here... I know it was this place because it was the only thing I ate that was processed that day. Be careful now that it is hot out... this becomes an issue at places like this.

This one is easily the most expensive Subway I've ever visited. It came to $15 for a footlong cold cut, no combo (or optional tip). I would have found someplace else to eat if I wasn't starving and needing food that minute. Not much to say about the food. It's Subway and my sandwich was reasonably tasty.
If you're in the mood for Subway and have some time, drive to Fruitvale.

They say they’re open at six on their door and on their website I wanted to come here for breakfast before going to work but no one to be seen. I guess they must just pick their hours when they wanna be there. and every time I’ve gone here before they pick and choose their prices one day it could be $13. The next day could be 20$ for the exact same sub.
Subway is the ok place. Love it in a pinch

Thank you for being here when I needed a sandwich. I understand why the prices are higher than other subways. The sandwich maker was delightful and smiled.

Apparently heard that people have gotten salmonella poisoning from the rotting sandwich ingredients they have here, will never be going here again. Go to the fruitvale subway if you can, a lot better there.

What's so disappointed that they didn't have the selection of food like they did when it first opened. Couldn't find anything that I would even think about eating Short of the bread.

18 dollars for a footlong steak and cheese with no add-ons is highway robbery. Lettuce and spinach was slightly brown and looked slimy. The sandwich "artist" had literally no customer service skills and took no pride in her work. Slapped it together. I would so love to see this place go out business and get new owners.

Absolutely terrible example of a subway.
Asked for extras lettuce, wouldn't give me, called the manger just to see if I could buy some and put it on the side, nope
If you aren't here for the customer you shouldn't be in business, absolute joke
