Best smoked meat outside of Montreal, end of story. Not that crap that tastes like pastrami and advertised as "Montreal style." More like Schwartz's and not like Lester's, which is how it should be! Spot on texture and flavour. Marble rye is unconventional but was crazy fresh and yummy, so all good. A bit heavy on the mustard. I suggest you ask for light on the mustard and/or on the side. See you again soon!
We stopped for take out, probably the best montreal smoked beef sandwich I have ever had. We will return again and again when we go back to Salt Spring Island.
