Super delicious freshly made gluten free pasta. I got the pasta with the Porcini mushroom sauce and loved it. Such a treat to get fresh gluten free pasta. The service was great too, very helpful and welcoming.

I smelled a basil plant, wanted pesto, and this spot randomly popped up. Salt Spring came to impress!! This was honestly some of the best pesto pasta I've had to date. So fresh, so delicious, so delicate. Not heavy in the slightest. It very much satiated my craving. We were told the pesto was freshly pressed just two hours prior, and you could see the fresh pasta being processed. My mom and I loved it. So authentic- an 'in someone's Nonno's kitchen' type of vibe. A cute little seating area as well. A perfect way to end a Salt Spring day :) I will definitely be back!!

Loved this little authentically Italian spot. In-house made pasta and sauces, it was probably the best al dente pasta we have tried in a very long while. Right at the Boardwalk in Ganges, really accessible any time. Cute little patio and some seating inside. Friendly and quick service. Highly recommended.

If youre lucky enough to catch it whilst its in stock, treat yourself and buy the olive oil Max imports directly from Italy. The qality is superior to anything else accessible in normal or specialist grocery stores. Liquid GOLD!

the pasta is very good and i definitely recommend the pesto but the bread is cold and microwaved so its okay. service is good but not top tier probably because its a take out type of restaurant but you can still sit inside or outside. the staff are nice though. the atmosphere is beautiful, there are parks all around, a huge hill with trees and the ocean too.

Wheelchair accessibility: there are no stairs, except for the bathrooms which are upstairs.

I dropped in to get their spinach ricotta cannelloni they were sold out. I tried it once a year ago and I have thought about it since. I live off island. They saw I was sad and I told them how I've been dreaming of it since then. They said they had sold out for the day. But the guy said if I could come back later in the day he would make me some fresh! I was so excited and agreed I went and got it and so excited to eat it again! I got their pesto and bocconcini nd if it's anything like their pasta it'll be amazing. The staff are super helpful and amazing and food incredible :)
Update: even better then I remembered ate it all up.

Del Vecchio Pasta Fresca is a must destination when visiting Salt Spring Island for fresh pasta and pizza lovers. Owner and Chef Max creates delicious Italian favorites. We tried Ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms and the Margherita pizza... both were delicious and served with big smiles. This small place is worth a detour. "Forza Italia" and "complimenti" team Max.
