Stop at the Harvest Kitchen's pantry and cafe to pick up SSI locally grown and cooked food items. They offer delicious breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, pantry items, freshly brewed coffee, farm fresh veggies, treats and popsicles.Many of quality Salt Spring Island products that you find at the local farmers market also stocked in the pantry. The cafe operates as a non-profit and helps increase food security on the island.
First visit at their new Fulford location. Friendly staff, service with a smile. The cranberry chicken salad wrap was loaded with chicken and arugula. Thank you for only a tiny bit of dressing! Big wrap, had leftover for dinner and very tasteful.Also took out 2 sausage rolls, just out of the oven around 11 am. It not only looked good, it was delicious!! Made with love.
