I went to Moby"s for the first time on August 16th 2025. Highly recommended by people I know. Excellent service , awesome food and friendly atmosphere. I was there with a friend, and Chelsea was amazing.Kudos to Chelsea. I will be back again😀

Come for the view - stay for the beer, wings,(especially the Korean BBQ!) and electric ⚡ 🚗 charge!
Came with the fam today and we really loved our food. Beware - they don't allow kids after 7pm!

Difficult staff requires two photo ID. Meanwhile underaged 8 year old can play pool.
Menu had two veggie options and the seed oils in the fried food made my throat scratchy and belly ache. (Probably rancid)
Would not recommend to any vegetarians. Impossible patty option for $3.50 extra is outrageous. Not enough condiments for the appetizers.

My meal was good. Came back for the duck wings. They were good, not quite the same from before. Ownership has changed. They also stopped jarring and selling the Go sauce. Was disappointed.

Duck wings were outrageous. Everything was great. Next time might order 30 duck wings and call it good. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

We were in Salt Spring for a couple of nights and picked this place for Thursday night for dinner. The vibe is nice, there was live music there and our server was nice. It was a bizarre encounter though. I let our server know that I have a gluten allergy. She said she would double check with the kitchen on what I order to make sure it was gluten free. I ordered the chicken bowl which was marked and the ingredients appeared to be gluten free. Our server came out and said the kitchen wanted to know if my allergy was a “death allergy”. Pardon?? They want to know if I will die if I eat gluten? I won’t die but I would be very sick. I’ve never ever been asked such a thing especially at a restaurant where chefs should be trained on food allergies. My chicken bowl was horrible. The chicken was shredded and mushy and the rice was in hard clumps. I showed the server but she just apologized and didn’t do anything. My entire meal was barely touched. My husband had a salmon burger. He really enjoyed it. He also had clam chowder but he said it was too thick so he barely touched it. We would not eat at Moby’s next time we are at Salt Spring.

We just had a drink while planning our day trip from Victoria.
Staff were nice, great view, menu looked good.
If you are new to Saltspring keep your eyes peeled ..
Its off the main road kinda tucked away.
I'll go back to try the food next time

Tried to call multiple times to place an order for food before the kitchen closed zero response after 4 calls. I show up for buck a duck night and they have removed that monday deal which is a saltspring classic and it's now about $4 a duck wing I'm told and then I asked if I could order something else they had to ask the kitchen and they said no (which I understand and why I tried to call in advance to place an order in the first place because I knew I'd get there a few minutes before 9 after getting off work). I'm also frustrated because when I showed up there were only like 5 people in the whole bar so I'm confused how no one had time to answer the phone so I could place an order. They have also recently removed the locals discount which is another unfortunate business decision in my opinion. I usually have had great experiences at this place but very disappointed from this experience and honestly a lot of the business decisions being made recently (and many others agree) and now I'm left hungry.

We stopped in for dinner and had a great experience top to bottom. Service was great and the food was amazing. We had the fish tacos and the duck wing dinner. Both were 10/10! We had never tried duck wings before….where have you been all my life??!! It’s tucked away a little bit but with great food and great marina views don’t sleep on this spot! We will be back for sure.

Very cool place to visit! We anchored in the bay and took the dingy up to the dingy dock, there was plenty of spots. Short walk over to Moby's. It has great character with air conditioning inside and a nice little patio outside with a great view of the harbor. The service was good!
We had burgers, fish, and chips, clam chowder.. which was very good.. and a must have was the duck wings!! Wow! This I'd definitely a place i look forward to my next visit!
