Seafood chowder was absolutely delicious and the chef's presentation was delightful. We sat outside next to the firepit heater overlooking the harbor, really nice.

The outside patio or the upstairs dining room are great venues to relax and enjoy the view.
We really enjoy the made to order fresh donuts by the fireplace and the Sunday brunch.

Vegetarian options: Yes! My husband had the avocado toast, and they were able to substitute tofu for the poached egg.

Dietary restrictions: Yes. See comment on vegetarian options

We were at the Oyster Catcher today, to celebrate my dad’s 90th birthday. Being winter/off-season the lower part of the restaurant is closed. As my father could not negotiate the stairwell to the upper restaurant, the staff (Greg) was gracious enough to open the lower 1/2, just to accommodate our family.
We were looked after by Reanna, who was outstanding! Friendly, personable and very attentive, the service and food were wonderful. The kitchen staff were even able to make us an item that was no longer on the menu, so a huge shout out to them as well!!
Try the seafood chowder, it’s the best you’ll ever have. The calamari was top notch as well. If you’re still hungry, I recommend the salt and pepper chicken wings. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable afternoon. Thank you Reanna and Oyster Catcher!!

A quiet Sunday lunch and I ordered halibut and chips. Shocked at the tiny piece of not very fresh halibut with an excessive amount of greasy batter and out of the bag frozen fries I received. I would be surprised if there was 2 oz of halibut. The meal was very subpar. I could have done better at the fish and chips truck on the side of the road around the corner. The place seems popular there was a steady stream of people coming in and out. The room has seen better days however it’s waterfront so the view is lovely. The service was satisfactory however, if I worked there I wouldn’t feel good about serving food like that and with those prices. The “meal” cost $32.00 and I don’t think I’ve had worse fish and chips. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

AMAZING! MUST have the Fried Oysters! We thought, 3 oysters for $20 ? BUT OMGOSH! Have never seen such large oysters! SUCCULENT! DELICIOUS and fried to perfection! The clam chowder was unique and out of this world. EVERY item our party of 6 ordered was amazingly good. Great service! Did I say amazing? IT WAS AMAZING! Add the location on the water! WOW!

Very expensive for what it is. I figured a place called Oyster Catchers would be a good deal but they didn’t have any local oysters (in November) and they were $4.5 a pop. Also got the garlic fries and they were way, way too oily. Couldn’t even eat half of them. Service was good though and I liked the quiet and dimly lit atmosphere.

You'd think that a seafood restaurant would be able to get fish and chips right especially for that price.

We visited this place at night and it was very cozy, but a little bit too dark.
Food was okay, it was good. And staff was very kind.

The service was very good. The food was delicious, it's not enough for the 5 stars but it doesn't deserve the 3.9 star rating. The prices are reasonable and we go home full and satisfied.

Very over priced, the food was okay but definitely not worth what we paid. The drinks are way over priced as well. The oysters were good though.

Have enjoyed this place on a couple of occasions usually with good food and service but after my last visit I just had to report on what was the worst service/poor attitude I can ever remember. Our server Reanna never cracked a smile and was very inattentive. We had to flag her down any time we wanted anything if we could find her. When I mentioned this near the end it was on! Somehow this was all my fault for not thanking her enough when a drink or food item was delivered. To cap off our nice meal I was now having to argue with the server about who was a fault for the rude non-existent service. This is the first poor review I have ever written as I understand how difficult it can be to run a business, but I had to relate this experience.
