Had such a great lunch!!! Best food ever. Sarafina was the best server ever. My mom and I are celiac and she had options for us and the chef made the mussels with a white wine broth to accommodate us. Beautiful setting on the pier. Great Kusshi oysters!! Couldn’t recommended more can’t wait to come back! Left so full and happy. Shrimp are great, Caesars are great. Such a great experience for us visiting from Kelowna thanks again!

We normally love eating here, when my husband went upstairs he was told they were closed but we could eat in the bar, at the bar there was a customer that was just quite loud. And a bit rude and obnoxious watching a hockey game, and then we've seen another couple come in, and they were allowed to go upstairs to the restaurant. So i'm not sure what that was all about it just kind of soured everything.

Wow these reviews are harsh. Not sure what happened there. My group had a great time here: good vibes, atmosphere, service, and food.

First stop of our Salt spring trip for some lunch and drinks while we waited to check in to our hotel and had the best time. Huge shoutout to our server Greg!!! He was so amazing we had to stop by one more time to see him before we left. Beautiful big patio over looking the water. Great food and drinks! We were only here for lunch but will come check out dinner next time. Go see Greg! He was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. This place is very lucky to have him.

This has to be the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. The service was okay, never got cutlery or napkins. The water definitely tasted a bit off. One of the members of our party ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich that apparently doesn’t come with fries?!$20 for just the sandwich and it was the worst crispy sandwich ever! The food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. Save your money and don’t dine here! So many more options for better prices, quality and service.

Really disappointing experience today in terms of service. Drinking water was contaminated, tasted like ocean water. Ordered a platter of oysters and waited over half an hour and the restaurant was almost empty except us. I asked another server about our oysters and when she brought it the ice was half melted, so unsure how long they were sitting there. I ordered the sandwich and the server asked what side and I said salad. When the bill came I paid it and after I noticed an $8 up charge for salad. I asked the server about the fee, and mentioned that she never mentioned it and the menu didn’t say anything about it. She said “I don’t make the price I punch in numbers” and turned and walked away. That was it. We paid a $190 bill and that response really left a sour taste in our mouth and the night, despite enjoying our other items.

It has been mentioned before: CHECK THE FINAL BILL. Mistakes do happen, repetition makes it a problem... Happy that I read the previous reviews. Almost got charged an extra $32.
Besides that great experience, good food.

We went here Easter Sunday and the hostess was wonderful, because we liked it so much we came back, big mistake. We were there 15+ minutes and not so much as a glass of water.
So we moved down stairs to the bar and it was the same thing so we left and ate at the Salt Spring Inn and it was fabulous great service and great food.
Maybe because it's off season they are understaffed at the Oystercatcher.

We popped in for lunch on the Good Friday holiday and it was quiet and inviting. We enjoyed a local beer, fish n chips and avocado toast with prawns. Exceptional friendly service. Will visit again on our next trip to the island.

Stopped in for some oysters and clam chowder on a rainy day in March. Our server was amazing and very attentive. Gave recommendations and was a pleasure to meet. Our meal was fantastic and the chowder was very tasty.

We didn't eat here but definitely will next visit as the menu looks great and has lots of options, not just seafood. Awesome View of the Harbour and Service was Top Notch! We just went in for a beverage.
