I've been eating here weekly since I moved to Salt Spring Island in February. there is a 50/50 chance that when I order a slice it's either delicious or several hours old, stale, leftover pizza. Because of this, when I really want a delicious pizza I will order a medium to go. Today I ordered a pizza, payed $20 and a $3.33 tip and received a burnt pizza for my effort. Ordered 3 pizzas to meet the family’s likes.... everyone was satisfied! The toppings are top notch and just so well put together! Much better than other options! Can’t wait until delivery!!!!!

The Pizza Cavern is a solid pizza spot with an owner who seems to single-handedly run the entire operation. It is the only affordable place to eat on Salt Spring. The owner is truly a man of the people, passionate about making delicious pizza at reasonable prices. The restaurant consistently has amazing pizza with a perfectly seasoned sauce and a good crust. It offers a new daily special pizza everyday and a commitment to creativity. The calzones and pizza by the slice are top-notch, including New York thin and Chicago deep dish style. The restaurant also offers a house-made vegan cheese option that is surprisingly good. The restaurant caters to both vegans and those with allergies, with the vegan cheese being a standout feature.
