SS Inn is one of our favourite restaurants on Salt Spring! However, if it's a busy night, the noise level makes it hard to hear your own conversation. Still, I'd give it a 10/10!

Consistently good eatery with friendly efficient staff in a convenient location. My favourite place to dine on Salt Spring Island. Sound can bounce around when it's busy, getting quite loud.

Wonderful birthday celebration at the Inn! Our sever was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, patient and helpful. We didn't realize it closed at 8 on Saturdays and sat there until 9pm accidentally while they were closing up and they were super nice about it!

The place was mainly empty except for 4 or 5 tables. There was only one guy working and presumably one more in the kitchen. They were overwhelmed and thus service for food and beverage was incredibly slow. It was well over an hour for our food to arrive. I will say once it arrived it was very delicious however.

Having lived on Salt Spring for 5 years this is our favourite place for Sunday lunch. The food is dependably good. And our servers are always professional. Ayla, the server that we normally get, is one of the best servers that we have met anywhere ( not just Salt Spring ). Thank you Ayla.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible through the back entrance past the kitchen.

Ordered the Special of salmon, rice & salad with glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my partner had Cajun chicken, then followed by NY cheesecake. Good food, great service, seating by the fire in a cosy atmosphere without loud music banging in your ear! Perfect place for an easy local dine out experience without any fuss!

Salt Spring Inn is, hands-down, my absolute favourite restaurant on Salt Spring Island! It offers the most choice out of any of the other restaurants and the servers are fantastic.

Made reservation day before, asked for a booth, didn't get it. Noted on reservation it was a birthday (actually 2 birthdays), and no mention was made. Chicken in buttered chicken was tough, salmon, in Caesar salad and salmon, was dry. Overall not impressed. Need a "Maybe" button on the next question.

the last statement with a bar graph is very miss leading with the word "energetic" as it could imply something that was good. The noise level was extremely distracting trying to have a conversation with the person beside you or across the table was quite difficult.

Having reservations was a bonus; we were seated upon arrival. The restaurant was utterly full, and with that is an expected high noise level. The food and service was very good. We will return!!

Was a wonderful experience! This comfortable and lovely dining facility offered us a fantastic place to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The menu was varied, and our dinner was fabulous.

There's a lovely selection of food. I always find that the people who wait on tables are very professional and friendly and accomodating to "needs" For me, I wish that they would incorporate some sound proofing panels...it gets far too noisy for me and I don't wear hearing aids...if I did, I'd want to take them out, but then I still wouldn't be able to hear the people with whom I'm sitting. I like going to the inn when it has a minimum of people because of the acoustics which are not good at all...
