This coffee shop is a real gem—great coffee, delicious baked treats, and an amazing staff who always make you feel welcome. The quality of both the drinks and the food is consistently excellent, and it’s clear they put a lot of care into what they do.
That said, now that the warmer weather is here, it’s noticeable how hot it gets inside—especially with the ovens running for baking. It’s a bit of a shame that the air conditioning doesn’t seem to be keeping up, as it can make it uncomfortable to stay and enjoy the space for long.
Overall, it’s still a fantastic spot, and with a bit of improvement on the cooling, it would be perfect.

I go in everyday. They know my name. They know my order. They're caring, warm, thoughtful!

Over the years, I think I've developed the ability to detect herbicides and pesticide's in any and all consumables... Usually takes me about 1 - 2hrs to detect a toxin after consumption. Anyways, what I would recommend pertaining to coffee, is avoid McDonalds, Starbucks etc... And for the most part, purchase from small business coffee shops. Why? Because they are competing with the large Corporate distributors and will often get the best organic coffee they can, they don't have share holders to please, by increasing profit margins with the cheap stuff that tastes good!.... On the Sunshine Coast such business as the Daily Roast in Sechelt gets a five star rating from me. I couldn't detect any pesticides or herbicides and felt very motivated, energetic and awake afterwards.

Daily Roast in Sechelt is a real treasure. The coffee is always spot on, the food is fresh and tasty, and the staff make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — honestly, everything about it is exceptional. If I had to nitpick, I’d maybe switch up the music playlist now and then, but even that doesn’t take away from how much I enjoy coming here.

Very quiet when I was there, but I'll certainly be back.

Ordered 2 lattes. One came out after a long wait with a chai latte so I didn’t think it was mine. After 10 mins I enquired about the 2 lattes and were told 2 were put out. But there was only one. They remade another one which was very weak and too hot. They need a system so people know what their orders are like taking a name. Too chaotic in the store. Won’t be returning.

Staff is super friendly. But as a cafe owner, watching them make an espresso was deeply disappointing. I’m not sure if it was a double or single shot but it only took 8 seconds to come out (supposed to be around 20-30 s for a good shot) and my latte tastes and looks like hot milk. Hoping the owner reads this and reprograms the machine as It’s not the fault of staff! This expensive machine is going to waste. Worst coffee I’ve had in a while
