Fish on Fifth offers generous portions of delicious fish and chips, accompanied by standout sides like coleslaw and yam fries. The restaurant is family friendly and known for its well-priced, fresh food. Their tartar sauce is unique and delicious, often praised more than the fish itself. The batter is thin, which appeals to those who dislike thick coatings. Fish on Fifth also has a great selection of options including vegan and gluten-free choices, making it suitable for everyone. The menu is different from others and worth trying. Friendly and prompt service from all staff creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant features a big drinks menu with milkshakes and adult milkshakes, adding to the overall dining experience. It is considered one of the best fish and chips spots on Vancouver Island and possibly in BC, with many customers eager to return again and again.
