Stopped here on a whim with a friend. The atmosphere is very fun and the staff are super friendly. Food and prices were great! Would definitely come here again next time I’m in town.

Homestead Cafe is a charming restaurant with a lovely and interesting environment. The food is fantastically delicious, featuring standout dishes like the blackstone benny, the classic eggs Benedict, and the 2 egg homestead with hash browns and toast. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing prompt service in a homey atmosphere. The owner/manager runs the show effectively, ensuring that each menu option is made to order with fresh, local ingredients.
The cafe has a change of ownership, and the new owners are warm, friendly, and very welcoming. The breakfast eggs are fantastic, the servings are plentiful, and the atmosphere is very homey. The workers are all so friendly and really make the experience worthwhile. With bottomless coffee, hard-scooped ice cream of many flavors, and something for every palate, Homestead Cafe is a true gem on Vancouver Island, where quality comes first.
