Oaken Gin is now the ONLY alcohol I will buy or drink!!!! Thank you for the store at the YYJ airport! I literally have to fly in from Alberta to buy in. PLEASE can you put it in a store? Thank you! There is nothing more tasty ever! So full of caramel and sweetness !!

The tasting room staff were so welcoming. Everything I tried knocked my socks off, but the Chocolate Liqueur was like liquid magic. Definitely recommend a stop in, if you’re in Sidney!

Sadly they only let a couple people in at a time so i wasn't afforded the opportunity to try anything. Never had this happen at a winery.

Lovely staff that are super welcoming and they have tastings.

All that glitters isn't always gold. This Gin featured in their tasting room at the Airport, and exclusively at the Empress Hotel by the bay in downtown Victoria is amazing.I did my final tasting at their tasting room at the airport. There were 2 wonderful ladies there. I had the most contact with Chloe. She really knew her stuff. Presentation sold me. I have 5 visitors coming from France in April and they will have the Empress & tonic to impress and amazing. How can one describe the incredible color? Lavendar? Amethyst? The taste was off the hook. With Chloe's advice I located the Empress 1908 Gin in town and didn't have to carry it in carry on with the airlines. And the 5 Frenchies vising me in April will have amazing cocktails. Yaay.Get it. Got it? Good1

Was out in Victoria on Thursday night and finally decided to try Empress gin.The only distillery in the world is located right here on Vancouver island in Sidney. The gin is a bit pricey but oh man is it smooooth.I was told it is now sold all over the world. And will be in Costco liquor stores soon.

I like their gin, and I was looking forward to tasting a cocktail, but they don’t have washrooms for their customers. I didn’t stick around.

Kennedy makes a visit to Victoria Distillers necessary when/if you are in the area - great service and fun atmosphere, specifically if you are in the mood to explore some gin; pier and aquarium are right next door if you need to pass time.
Had a little tasting and bought some fantastic gin, then went for a little walk on the seawall. Note the distillery tours are temporarily suspended.

I don't drink, but these guys are making free hand sanitizer for health care workers. For that, they deserve your support when the world recovers from the pandemic. Great people!

We took a classic tour (just under and hour) and became acquainted with the process of making spirits (like being in the best chemistry class). I loved the space, large, views of the sea, comfortable seating if you wanted to linger over specialty drinks. There is plenty of parking and restaurants are nearby to walk to. Many of the spirits are displayed for purchase after your tasting.

These guys are phenomenal. I was able to sample almost all of their wares, and wow, I walked out after purchasing twice as much as I intended to buy. Their Empress 1908 and their spiced rum are absolutely phenomenal. My wife is especially enamored with the fact that the gin changes from purple to pink when mixed with citrus.
