Why I do not recommend Aspen Riverhouse Restaurants We stopped in for dinner last night with our son and his family. Definitely a cozy atmosphere and friendly serving staff. Where the ball got dropped was definitely on the food. The burgers and sandwiches had no complaints but the fries we extremely salty. We stopped here on a road trip looking for a good lunch that didn't involve fast food - well this was a win win - the food was fast, but it wasn't "fast food." We both had salads. They were a good portion and made with lots of fresh veggies. Yum! The waitress was attentive and friendly. Thanks for a good fast stop!
